Why some in Pakistan want to replace Jinnah as the founder of the country with an 8th century Arab

I am a Pakistani first. My religion and nationality are not two divergent things for me.
Don't try to evade the reality..what you are saying is it is one and the same if you are Pakistani first or Muslim first..who is more dear to you?an Arab Muslim or a pakistani Hindu or christian?for me I always side with Indians regardless of their religion or caste(provided they are good and not traitors).

You are not worthy enough to comment on dawn or its intellectuals

Because you being an Indian are judge on the worthiness of content published in Pakistan and weather Pakistanis have right to accept or reject that. Yea right.

Dawn is balanced...of course religious bigots can't stand it

Dawn doesn't draw our ideological boundary. What it has stated is no better than an intellectual vomit and we flush this stuff instead of considering it balanced.

No..because you don't heed to what your intellectuals(like dawn) say..you are blindfolded by religion.

Dawn is gone baboon and baloon. If a drunk man thought about this idea, that doesn't became Nation's new ideology.

Consider this, India tried its best to diminish ideological boundaries with Pakistan and that was supported by one of the biggest Media Group in Pakistan giving best of its airtime, print media and social footprint it had. What has changed on ground? We don't change our ideology with weathers and Dawn or its moron writer cannot turn a hair.

OK...you be like that only..

express tribune aur dawn news ko fazul bakwas k ilawa koi aur kam nahe

Speakers at this event also describe Qasim as the "first Pakistani" and then trace and place the creation of Pakistan to the arrival of the Arab commander 1,300 years ago.
So, Pakistan was created 1300 years ago by Bin Qasim? :woot: WTF? :laughcry::crazy:

Damn! The standard of debates in South Asia is making us a laughing stock of the world!! We need to grow up, or is it too much to ask?

i sometimes wonder why someone has not named /declares this writer nadeem f paracha as Traitor/ RAW agent till yet :sarcastic:
Nasoom Nirdoosh Admi we have put jihad on his RAW arse already but we did it out of habit because most of us dont understand his kafir language and what evil things he means.

you reacting to such notion and me responding to your reaction

I am yet to meet these "some" individuals. These arab paranoid liberals sound too stupid some times.
If I recall correctly, we had/have some senior Pakistani posters who argued/argue in favor of introducing Arabic as Pakistan's national language.

The underlying rationale might differ - some propose it for religious reasons, some because they think such a move might provide greater national unity/dissipate ethnic tensions, and others because they suffer from an Arab complex and wish to become Arabs.
