As I have stated in another similar thread, Pakistan should not recognize Israel as it would be tantamount to SHIRK! Let alone her tyranny she exudes.

I am also very grateful to graphican for posting the ayah he did. It is very important to Islamic Eschatology. Very important indeed. For a scholarly discussion for the layman on this ayah please read this A commentary to Maulana Imran Hosein’s interpretation of the verse.

In short, this ayah is anticipating a mysterious rapprochement between (some) Christians and (some) Jews which the world today knows as Zionism. Muslims must remember that Christians and Jews were never allies of one another (at the time of Quranic revelation) as the former accused the latter of the greatest crime, the crime of deicide (from the Christian perspective). Indeed there is a part of Christendom that has not made bed with (Zionist) Jews and never did. Care to take a guess as to who are these Christians?
