Why Pakistan cannot say sorry to Bangladesh

The biggest problem Bangladesh has is simple

Its dickless and worthless

Its surrounded by india on almost all sides, and shares a small border with Myanmar. Bangladesh is militarily pathetic barely able to hold its own against Myanmar and not against india and this dosent look like changing at all

It has a relatively small landmass but big population

None of this will really change for Bangladesh. It has done well however lifting its GDP etc

We cannot compare Pakistan with Bangladesh. Pakistan has a different destiny our people, our military. The only muslim nuclear and missile power. We will play our part in the future of the muslim world one way or the other.
Bangladesh simply wont it will always remain this trapped entity, hemmed in by india and Myanmar

What fantasy?

BD GDP per capita is growing at over 6% and should hit at least 6.5% this year.
Taking out the 2% growth rate of the population in Pakistan, you will not even hit 4% GDP per capita growth and that is with total Chinese support.

BD launders tons more inflation into its nominal/real GDP figures than Pakistan.

When a better reference is used to somewhat account for this, Pakistan is keeping ahead of you more or less by the same distance:

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.PCAP.PP.CD?locations=PK-BD

BD growth will only get faster into the next decade as BD has the most severe infrastructure deficit in the whole of S Asia.

Nowhere near the only thing you have severe deficit in :P ...and no BD will not "get faster"....your govt is by far the worst in the region and seems to revel in staying there...nothing like a dissonance fuelled power trip.

Huge own goal there.

If we look at BD/Pakistan per capita PPP ratio in 2000, it was 0.46 and in 2016 it is 0.69. Clearly BD is getting wealthier far faster than Pakistan.

You are dealing with someone who is a human calculator.:D

I am looking at the actual distance between the two rather than launder in the much lower base effect of BD to make the "growth" seem better.

It is remaining quite stagnant distance between the two...of about 10 years behind by BD (And probably favours Pakistan if BD were more honest about it actual GDP growth lately).

So nope, no self goal....and you certainly are no human calculator....if your type were, its patent filing history at USPTO wouldn't read like binary code.

Try to hit even 5% GDP per capita growth rate and then Pakistan will be doing well in economic development.
What is this population bullshit you bengalis keep spewing? Didn't Bangladesh have a larger population than Pakistan, was their GDP larger at that time? I only hear the population reasoning from Bengalis on this forum.

They think their lower-base effect now will automatically transfer to compounding later ("to catch up etc)....but as you can see from the graph, its very different in reality (this is per capita so the population already baked in), the trends indicate the distance will remain about 10 years between the two:

These are the crucial studies that are showing something clearly is rotten in the state of BD (given even BD media is now picking up on it and cant hide behind delusion anymore):

i.e Household income has actually DROPPED in real terms over last 6 or so years AND world bank is uncomfortable with the underlying data not supporting BD claims (with regards to real growth).

I also remember reading that they lied about their literacy rate.

I also remember reading that they lied about their literacy rate.

Yah that was some BAL brochure thing from way back. Their standards/dissonance form reality just are terrible, even accounting for how region in general is....and they don't seem keen on improving it either (unlike say how Pak and India are improving in corruption perception index over time)

Why should Pakistan even consider saying sorry!

When Indian PM himself admitted creation of Bangladesh was a terrorist operation, there is little left to say sorry.

U won't have to worry about it. We r doing great as far as literacy rate and economic growth rate is concerned.

U should better worry about ur own country since just a couple of weeks back I saw ur PM to run from one pole to another for borrowing a loan so that he could repay the part of previously borrowed loan. U r taking loans to repay the loans, that's the current economic condition of ur country.

Didn't IMF recently force PAK to depreciate its Rupee against Dollar even further to keep up the economic balance? What's the current exchange rate BTW? 120 RS per dollar? Hope it won't touch 130 by the end of this year.

Shut it Bong boy, do you remember what happened the last time you tried to mess with Pakistanis?

What u accept or reject has little to no significance to me. Nobody has accepted that 300k number other than u or ur kind to suit ur propaganda.

Its a well established fact that the death toll was between 500k to 1.5 million. Most of these civilians were killed by pak army and the paramilitary force that was created by pak army in order to help them to carry out the genocide throughout the country.

Myanmar army also gave a press briefing couple of days ago where it claimed that it hasn't committed any crime against Rohingyas. But still over a million of them decided to seek refuge in Bangladesh and couple of hundred thousand in India or other countries.
in a similar war in Syria more than a million died.
and secondly no body other than Bangladesh and India accepts more than 300k figures.

Dude, IMF predicts that BD will grow 2% a year on average faster than Pakistan til 2023.

Add in the extra 1% population growth rate of Pakistan, then BD GDP/capita is rocketing up faster.

We will soon have a scenario where BD has larger GDP despite being 70-80% the size of the population compared to Pakistan.
Pakistan GDP growth is 5.8% and will hit 7.5% in 3 years.
so keep dreaming what you are dreaming. and not to forget we faced 15 years of sanctions in that time too. We build a nuclear weapon and still we are ahead of you.

I am amazed some people are so much obsessed with Pakistan. Both Pakistan and Bangladesh have moved on. The question is "Will India ever say sorry to Kashmir".
Why should India say sorry to Kashmir or Pakistan? Might is right.
