Why Pakistan cannot say sorry to Bangladesh

The war was over for five good years.

You think countries recover so Quick in Wars?

And third World countries. And where supply route is a 2500km stretch.

You need to twice think before you come up with Propaganda.

I dont take you guys seriously but its just good Banter. Just horseplay.

You havent seen the half of El Sidd

Not at all but a poor response would definitely lead to social unrest.

If you can come up with a good joke past Rakhine state maybe you'll get a laugh out of me.

That is a given. But your intellectuals did Not wait did they.

Political solution was possible even at the Dawn of war.

Once India jumped in. It was not worth it.

Dude, do you know how long it took for the Pakistani government to respond after the 1970 cyclone?
Which country says a retarded comment like "defence of the East lies in the West"?
Before writing these comments, you and many more Bengali youth should read about what monstrosity was Bhola cyclone. The storm made landfall at the exact time of spring high tide, which is the highest possible tide and storm winds enhanced the high tide to levels still unknown to weather experts. The storm surge was the largest recorded in human history and still nobody has recorded a higher storm surge. It was like being struck by Hiroshima Atom bomb many times over.
40% of Bangladesh land mass came under water which included almost all coastal cities where most of the population lived. Bridges and roads were washed away. Wind knocked down electricity. Sea Water reached and stood in areas far north.
It was a massive calamity which would have taken time even for the richest and most resourceful nations on the planet to recover from.
The Government response was Immediate. general Yehya Khan visited East Pakistan and called International donors' conference . The whole world was invited to chip in because Pakistan alone couldn't have handled it.
Just three months later your super heroes Mukti Bahini were attacking aid convoys , Killing "Shaala Ponzaabi" soldiers of Pakistan army and disrupting aid efforts.
So bengalis have only themselves to blame for what happened.

The money was paid by your creator India.
Yes you were so poor that millions of you died of hunger until 1974 as there was no food in Bangla aster Separation from Pakistan.

Mukti Bahini were teenage terrorists who with lots of weapons, nothing to do with their lives and nobody to answer to. They kept killing and raping long after Pakistan army left. They didn't even listen to Sheikh Mujeeb's repeated requests to surrender weapons.
Its was only in mid 70s when ammunition ran out that the Mukti Bahini stopped killing and raping. They committed horriffic crimes against humanity. Dhaka stadium had gory killing games where Mukti bahini would bring in suspected Rojakars or anyone they thought was against creation of BD and in front of spectators, kill them slowly by torturing them sall day in front of cheering bangla crowd.

Remember to also point these fools to these post when they claim their BS that West Pakistan looted trillions of GDP % from East Pakistan:

Hey Tamil,

Did anyone invite you to this discussion?

Ever wonder why the 1960s is known as Pakistan's "golden period" and it's economy never recovered after BD split?

Bangla and many Pakistani youth harp old propaganda without varification.
World bank documents show East pakistan jute export in 1970 at 400 Million USD and in the same year Pakistani Military budget was 540 Million Dollars and that was less tha 20% of Pakistani total budget. If 540 Million Dollars were less than 20% , then how much of the national; buget's percentage was beangla jute income?
So its not rocket science to guess how miniscule was the East Pakistan contribution via jute exports to overall Pakistani national budget.
The main money maker was East west mutual trade from which both sides benifited and saved tons of money by avoiding to import same stuff from Europe or abroad.
Machinary and processed goods were sold to east Pakistan by industrial base of west Pakistan and raw material was sold to west pakistan by mainly agriculture reliant economy of East Pakistan, and it made the overall economy very robust.
So neither side can take credit of being the major contributor. In fact west still contributed more in tax revenues than east pakistan as Most industries were based there.

Dude a massive own goal thanked by butt-hurt @Nilgiri :D

Do you have any idea what you have just admitted?

Think about it this way, a Pakistan composed of both Pakistan + BD would have a total economic output of 600 billion US dollars now. We are looking at defence expenditure of around 20 billion US dollars and so a cool 15 billion US dollars just from Jute exports.
Please tell me, without this jute, how would Pakistan be able to pay for it's consumer and defence imports as it had little other means to earn foreign currency? China and the Arab world was not in the picture then.
Also by 1970 the value of jute exports had gone down substantially and it would have been a lot higher up to the mid-1960s.

Without BD jute Pakistan could never have built the army to face India or have financed the construction of it's infrastructure. You are aware that in the 1960s the PA was considered a peer to IA? Now only the nuclear trigger is stopping IA from invading Pakistan.
