Why is Chabahar not burning ? Because we Fu++ing killed Jaih e Adl leader and stopped them from operating in Pakistan just to please the Iranian regime under Zardari rule.

From operating in Iran *
Any chance Pakistan can revive them and use them against Iran?

what interest would becoming the "conquerors" of Yemen serve Pakistan? if you take charge of Yemen conflicts
seriously what exactly would you gain from it?, any tangible benefit out of it?
not to mention when you were already conducting civil war in your neighboring country for decades already (not to mention handling spill over here- in 2015 we were barely out of a insurgency)

Tired of this crap man, apni aukaat wali baat karni chahiye, Afghanistan ki insurgency barely "successful" hoi heh lekin yaha hum ne Yemen jaa kar apni conquering genes dikhaani thi agar nahi toh "servitude" , "slavery" just because you have a functioning brain and realize your short comings that
a country with 300$ billion economy, facing an insurgency, already engaged in handling insurgency of a neighboring country fighting only , unchallenged superpower of the world, and on top of all that x7 times larger country always breathing down your neck

In all this calling us "servants" for not taking charge of a conflict in ME already involving many regional players- and if we show our functioning brains
that hey this is a disaster, you cant do that in circumstances you are in- you become second fiddle servants

Sorry sir, I'd rather not be the "conquering" chad of Yemen

If we can become conquering chads of CAR, Afghanistan- than Bismillah this is needed for our future- aggressive moves their are needed
even if we have to go through Russia, China, Iran anyone for that matter but ME, Yemen serves no purpose especially considering the circumstances of the time

He’s been repeating that same mantra last 3 years or so just leave him. It’s like he’s living in another realty, not realizing Pakistani Forces can’t control there borders and being blown to pieces. Need to beg their sugar daddy’s to meet the years budget and here he wants Pakistan to take control of Yemen conflict.

Wtf is Pakistan going in there with Helix trucks? Lol

I don't think tit for tat is the way to go. I think ultimately @MastanKhan was right about Yemen and I was wrong. To support the Arab intervention might not be morally correct, but it would have been a good strategic move.
Pakistan should have joined Saudi’s (GCC) and Turks to help Syrian people that were getting bombed day and night. It was morally right thing to do. Pakistan made a colossal blunder at Strategic level . . Yemen campaign should be cherry on cake after that.

Pakistan problem is the presence of sectarian driven foreign lobby in critical decisions making circles that sell mujan of “Wahhabi label”.

If I was somewhere in decision making capacity, I would have struck a deal with GCC that would have eliminated half if not interest free deferred all foreign loans and strength strategic partnership with them.

Pakistan is in debt (death) trap. Half of Pakistan Budget is spent of paying of old debt and interest on it.

Nothing but a colossal blunder at Strategic level .

I think the Army fears because if they go in open hostility with Iran, many of their soldiers and top ranking will mutiny based on sectarian affiliation. This lobby has its claws deep rooted in almost every major field in Pakistan, from banks to Media, from Clergy to Army, from Politics to Social media influencers, This is exactly why I say that Pakistan's future is bleak and in a couple of decades there will not be any Pakistan left, it will break into smaller pieces and India will take their share, Afghanistan will take theirs, Iran will theirs.

Hey @Areesh at least now this @Indus Pakistan is calling people Anti-Shia and not enemy of Ahle byat :) I call it progress
There is a way to deal with them. Send them on foreign (mini) deployments with Saudis in Yemen or Syria. if they refuse orders, kick them out. (or worst act dubious) . Weed out shady elements before it’s too late.

That's not Practical, what is Practical that Pakistan take a side, because this neutrality is killing us... I was not in favor of PA getting involved in Yemen despite the FACT that I know Iran is playing a dangerous double game within Pakistan long before that, but now I think I was wrong and we should've send it our troops with Air force to help Arabs, in return we could've got funds to upgrade our forces which would help destroy the Insurgency back home, we could use Arab influence over the west for our benefit, and we could also negotiate newer terms with America, Its still not to late, cat is now out of the box and I am sure ISI and PA have enough evidence for Iran's involvement, now we have to see if this matter will be put under the rug or the momentum against Iran which is started will take Pakistan to a newer path.

Its practical, that’s what western militaries do with all the foreign born or Muslims. Put them in line for deployment with the next deploying unit.

in return we could've got funds to upgrade our forces
I would have ask them to buy our debt and pay for military campaign. We give you peace in your neighborhood, you give us freedom from debt (death) trap.

Fair deal.

That I don't know about...

I don't think it would be that simple, but in the long run we can use their investments and they can easily put few billion dollars in our banks or lend us Oil on deferred payments. We could've used this yemen Opportunity for our benefit, maybe even renegotiate a deal with Iran but for all of that you need intelligent leadership in important Positions, and looks like we are out of intelligent people in Pakistan.

These countries combined spend well over $100 billion on defense every year. I am sure they can spare one year of defense budget for their protection. They don’t have to pay lump sum. Just buy the debt and pay to foreign lenders on their schedule.

GCC paid, hundreds of billions to US back in 90’s.

Few billions won’t cut it. Maintaining war machine is expensive. Pay for all the military campaign (depends how long it last) plus buy Pakistan debt as service charge.

You scratch mine, I scratch your back.

Fair deal.

if you have fresh meat, pls send them to Iran, Iran can use them for Kabobs, Iran has all the necessary equipment ready. Iran didnt even give Jundullah or Jaish al Adl that much
Chabahar is a worthless project when Iran is sanctioned by USA.
Can you give some actual proof this is the fact and not just your opinion? India just formalized a 3rd shipping lane from India to Iran, via Chabahar, and China is active in Chabahar too, have you hear about INSTC? Eurasia and Asia are integrating more and more, but i dont think your up to date with whats really happening in that part of the world, please go brush up your readings. Dollar world order is becoming history and has lost so much steam, but if you want to be in denial, then enjoy!

If Chabahar was so successful, then why is it not as developed as Gwadar?

The Indians will also earn the wrath of the GCC countries for working with Iran.

India will earn the wrath of USA for working with Iran.

Nice try kiddo.

if you have fresh meat, pls send them to Iran, Iran can use them for Kabobs, Iran has all the necessary equipment ready. Iran didnt even give Jundullah or Jaish al Adl that much opposition, and soon after their attacks stopped, but politics on the backend might've contributed to that.

If Chabahar was so successful, then why is it not as developed as Gwadar?
Because Gwadar got A TON more money From China, and more than Chah bahar received (from India + Iran's domestic funds), Pakistan isnt sanctioned by US, like tyou pointed out, AND India is in charge of Chahbahar and was moving slow earlier ,but is picking up pace. You're just so blindly biased against Chahbahar, you cant entertain any good news coming out of it, but it is a permanent prject that is increasing in activity year after year. juist watch, exports to Afghanistan will crank up this year more, for example.
The Indians will also earn the wrath of the GCC countries for working with Iran.
But the GCC countries like UAE are still working with Iran, same as Qatar, Oman is setting up a huge subsea pipeline atm with Iran to do more gas and oil biz, so wtf are you talking about? or you're just dreaming?
India will earn the wrath of USA for working with Iran.
LOL, isnt that what your country is there for? to give wrath to India? now you've shifted that responsbility to US that has stable relations with India? US cant even put sanctions for CAATSA for Indian purchases of Russian weapons, so why would US chase INdia over Chabahar?
Nice try kiddo.
"kIDDO"- Your level of understanding and analysis of Iran and Pakistan politics and issues.

.
Does iran harm Pakistan directly? It will be stupid of Pakistan to go on blaming iran. And mere words and blame statements don't have any weight nor matter, if you really really wish for them to respect Pakistan, then there needs to be solid action at part of Pakistan to influence their strategy. Solution to that doesn't exist within Pakistan's boundaries. What Pakistan has common with the rich Muslim countries is Islam, exploit that.

Hi,

Absolutely---Iran has harmed pakistan many a times---everyday-.
