It is other way around. Jinnah was quoted that he was in favor of rich kingdom of Deccan. He said to one of his friends " I am not stupid to let go of Deccan for some mountains of Kashmir. In the end he lost both. Deccan was Hindu majority and not contiguous.

Frankly speaking, my country, Japan, is following the US too closely and its relations with other Asian countries are too bad.
Japan's presence has certainly made Asian unity more difficult.
Also, the seeds of conflict in Asia have been planted too many times over the years by the US intervention.

Europe meets the definition of continent. It is defined by geographical barriers on all sides - the Caucasus mountains, the Ural mountains range, the Mediterranean sea.
