It is all about Education and culture. The importance which Indians have for education is found nowhere in the world. The boys and girls who have reasonably good access to good education will shine anywhere. The way they are educated and their aspiration to fulfill the dream of their parents makes them class apart from any other students. One will see more and more Indian replacing their counterparts from highest positions in corporates, Institution, education , research and any other center of excellence. New schools are coming up with totally different vision and ethos. The students of those school will totally outmatch education of any best school anywhere except India. I saw a video of a school run by ISCON. The principal of the school is a top executive of Goldman sach, its teachers are rankers of IIT which has surpass any other institution in providing top executives in corporates. Isha sanskriti is a great school without any examination. Its student in last three years will study morning 5 to 11 in the night everyday without any holiday in 3 years. Indian education has risen to a level (And still rising) where the education of any other country can not come close. Students of these schools have global vision to make the world a better place of living.

I really cannot fathom all this utter garbage. Board meetings can take place once a year , maybe twice a year.
If takeovers are being planned and executed then they meet more often.
The CEO can choose to ignore these meetings . No rule that says he must unless something urgent requires his presence.
A CEO that is a yes man is a DEAD CEO. Anyone who is not allowed to function in the freest way possible is never going to hang around in such a capacity.
He would find other employment very very easily.
Subservience is a deeply held Pakistani trait.
You see it in the Middle East where they are treated as slaves and beaten as slaves.
In the West they are employed in the service industry. Shops , Taxis etc and they are completly subservient.
Indian CEO's whose PERSONAL wealth is far higher than mere board members and whose skills are what propels the company can never be treated as some flunky as they can walk away into another well remunerated position
