Though according to the official history of the Congress, it was Nehru who "outlined five principles of Panchsheel which became the basis of the Non-Aligned Movement", in November 1962, he badly panicked and aligned himself with Washington.

even india not accepting taiwan a seperate state..but the fect of the matter here is that like the taiwan , tibet also refuse to accept the communiste govt rule......once the communiste govt goes tibet and taiwan will join the china and it will be a democratic elections there ...
there is nothing against china or chinese but only against communiste govt ruling ...

we did huge unforgivable mistake in 1962 and lost war. Nehru was great leader but he didn't back army modernization. result= defeat at hands of PLA. no Indian will forget 1962. good thing is after this defeat we re looked our polices and started modernizing our army. we all know after that what sweet fruit came to our efforts.
