Why can't China afford a war? China's economy is five times that of India.

Militarily speaking, China would be bombing well populated areas of India while India would be bombing sparsely populated areas of Tibet.

India would be running pillar to post within a week from the start of the war.

Hope better sense prevails and India gives up its pride.

Yeah, we can all count the numbers in a war. The Chinese economy is five times of India, twice the number of armed personnel. Nearly twice bombers and fighters. Can China think of fighting a war alone?

US fought war in Iraq and Afghanistan with a coalition force. Still how much do you think they cost US?

China has a trade deficit of around $50 Billion with India. Now consider the investment deficit which is looming in China, when a war is declared this will result in a stock market crash. India is not some minion state like Philippines or South Korea whom you can intimidate. Both are Nuclear armed states with MAD.

There is a reason why Russia and US never start a war during cold war.

India will move to occupy Tibet and free it from Chinese control

There is no better way to secure our border than create the free nation of TIBET as a buffer state. Maybe its time we brought "democracy" in TIBET

Moving into Tibet is not a walk in the park.

Chinese cruise missiles could hit most of India (except southern parts) while Indian cruise missiles cannot hit populated areas of China.

India would be easy pickings for China.

But it is a walk in the park since you yourself has admitted that its sparsely populated.

That is the problem with sparsely populated regions, anyone can squat and stake claim and then its very difficult to dislodge them

I guess since you would be bombing India, our millions of Indians will have to move to Tibet to keep themselves safe.
