Actually, I've always liked Johnny Depp, if only for the darker tone the characters he is asked to portray often take.

Hard to say I like any one actor though... it's more dependent on role for me. Some actors excel is one role, but stink in another. I take this question on a case-by-case basis.

He was really good. I especially liked the scene very he was in that farm house with the french father and three daughters and spoke 3 different languages fluently. He was so smart and evil but at the same time charming.
