Who will be Pak ODI captain after World Cup?

I think Wahab Riaz is the best if he remains fit, As a fast bowler he is aggressive too and experienced as well and moreover he is an all-rounder and his age is also above 25.

Shehzad is a great player,but hardly a captain material,he is immature and has a very short temper,he will serve Pakistan well in future.Moving on to Sohaib,good talent,might just fit in.I wonder why Haris Sohail is missing in your little list.

None of these + No Hafeez / Malik / Afridi. Hafeez doesn't justify his place in the team and we want to make him captain. Plus he's a coward batsman, can't be a good captain. Remember the Steyn debacle?

There is a new guy Sami Aslam, he led Pakistani U-19 team to WC final, where they narrowly lost to India. He's an attacking opening batsman with captaincy in U-17, U-19 and A Team under his belt. He should be in team as an opener and captain. Current lot of is no use, bring someone new and groom it.

I thing Shehzad will be fine once become captain. He is aggressive and energetic that all we need at this time. Calmness will come later anyway. Don't know about Haris but he can be vice captain or vise versa.

Look at Jason Holder, 23 year old West Indies captain and it is a horror show. Winning a world cup is a serious business, you are competing with players like Dhoni, Clarke, De Villiers. This is no childs play.

26-30 is a good age for captaincy.

Averages 24 with both bat and ball in T20s. He is beast player in this format.

I'm fine with Hafeez in T20, no doubt about that. Was talking about him in ODIs.

Last 20 overs of a ODI innings is same thing.

If Hafeez bowls 5 overs and bats lower in the order in the last 20 overs it would be the same as playing a T20 game for him.

But he can also bowl full quota at 4.5rpo which makes him world class.

This kid is also a huge prospect, Imam ul Haq. Recent Pak U19 team did not lose a game for 2 years and there are some very exciting prospects for the future.
