Facts are:

1. US decided to attack Afghanistan many years before 9/11, they just used it as excuse.

2. US said they have evidence Bin Laden was involved, they lied. Many years later CIA spokesman confirmed it officially - they have no evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.

3. Before war started, Taliban asked evidence, US declined. Then Taliban offered Bin Laden's trial in neutral country, US declined. They attacked and destroyed country instead.

Bottom line: Bush, Blair and their administrations are war criminals, and should be hanged on the same tree as Hussein.

I support the Taliban and every other resistance group(there are dozens) who resist occupation of their nation. This is a human and moral right which has been around for thousands of years. It won't change now because America calls them terrorists.

As for women rights there are no better. Karzai has tried to pass various laws which humiliate women such as the rape within marriage law which allows husbands to beat their wives if they don't allow them to have sex. Women are still wearing the burka after 10 years. The issues against women weren't bought in by the Taliban but are cultural and have been around for many years.

Well said. Amazing how some Indians attempt to be more American than Americans. It would have been an interesting topic to debate about - but when people resort to personal attacks and start talking twaddle, its time to move on.
