I am sorry to sound like a racist but I can't like White people beyond superficial greetings. Even the ones that are great exceptions will treat you less compared to their own kind.

Many years ago when I used to study in Germany, we had people from many nationalities living in the university dorm. We initially had a tradition of celebrating people's birthdays. Everyone would gather around for an evening of fun and frolic.

When my birthday turn came, all the goras and goris conveniently got busy or left elsewhere. Basically they didn't want to celebrate because I didn't drink alcohol back then. No one in that group even wished me because it would have been awkward (I had been there at their birthday celebrations).

That's when I learned my place with the Westerners. They will ditch you for the slightest of reasons or no reason at all. Unless of course you're completely Westernized and have forgotten your roots.
