Which Pakistani fighter downs India jets? F-16 or JF-17?

you wouldn't believe my indian classmates are so hyped, they claimed pakistani jet entered and indians shot it down... when i told them pakistan shot down indian jets today, they laughed refused to believe and asked why i am supporting pakistan... i was just merely stating the facts and reality but they are describing the situation like it's a plot of a bollywood movie.... probably fueled by the indian news channels....
they refused to believe the source i show them, namely BBC / aljazeera but they scoff and yet show me news from these sources when it's favorable to india

It is an optimal example of their delusional state. They will continue to live in denial mode but we will keep spanking them left and right and knock some sense into them.

2 Jf17's knocked out 1 mig-21 and 1 Su30MKI. Mig pilot caught alive and Su30
fell in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

**** you and **** your twisted logic and get the **** out of here.

I think you've got something here...the F-16s were sold to Pakistan as defensive weapons, right?. India claims its airstrike yesterday on Pakistani-controlled territory was against a terror base, so under post-9/11 international law that's not a violation of Pakistani sovereignty, hence today's downing by Pakistan of an Indian jet may be considered, legally, an unprovoked offensive operation by Pakistan.

Is there a story about the Pakistani pilot who downed the Indian plane?

This is a few weeks old video where two indian trainers collided in mid air and crashed.

This does not look like Pakistan. The Jets don't appear to be hit by anything

talked with them today, they now acknowledge it but demands pakistan return the pilot and it has to withing 6 days... or something like that... and also something along the lines of "pakistanki gaand torne hai" when i asked why they're war mongering, they say pakistan supports/ harbors the terrorist that attacks india and their madrasa churn out terrorists.... 70 years of talk went futile, when i mention imran khan calling on modi.... so basically they're all interested in war in varying degrees.... also should mention that one of these indian classmates of mine was a muslim who acts overpretentious namely because i am non practicing even though i know a lot about islam.
he says pakistan would be wiped off the map if india wants to and pakistan don't have fuel to fly their fighter jets.... shit like that.

There seems to be involvement of 9th Squadron (F-16 MLU)

It was clear from the moment the photos of the PAF pilots were released. Didn't they even have F-16 badges? Plus Kaiser Tufail declared right away that these were F16's from Sq.9.
The video clip of the older pilot next to Thunder was a poor attempt to make it look like he stepped down from it. Anyone could see through the unnecessary subterfuge.

Military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor has rejected India’s claims that Pakistan used American-made F-16 jets to down Indian aircraft in an aerial dogfight on February 27.
________________________________________________________________
While talking to Russian news agency Sputnik, Major General Ghafoor said that the PAC JF-17 Thunder combat aircraft developed jointly with China was used instead.

“The aircraft which engaged those targets and fought them were JF-17. As regards to how to use F-16s, in what context [they] were used or not — because at that point of time our entire air force was airborne — now it remains between Pakistan and the US to see how the MoUs regarding the use of F-16 have been adhered to or otherwise,” Major General Ghafoor said.

He remarked that the Pakistan Army has records and video footage of the operation.
However, he added that the country would use whatever it deemed necessary if it came to “legitimate self-defence.” He said that Pakistan decided to respond to February 26 India’s incursion by dropping payloads but chose not to threaten civilian lives.

The ISPR chief asserted that the protection of the country was of the utmost importance but it would be “insane” to discuss the use of nuclear weapons. He also pointed out Pakistan’s will to takes steps towards non-proliferation of nuclear arms — but only if India does the same.

“Pakistan will undertake anything which is based on equality. You cannot tie the hands of Pakistan and keep India’s open. Anything that happens should happen for both countries,” he said.

Pakistan would welcome Russia’s role in mediating the recently inflamed tensions between Pakistan and India. “We would welcome any third-party mediation, which can bring peace in the region. And Russia is more than welcome,” said Major General Ghafoor.

Pakistan valued Russia’s role in the Afghan settlement process and recognized Moscow’s importance in regional processes, he added.

“We greatly value the relevance and importance of Russia in the region, especially what role Russia has lately played towards Afghan reconciliation … Russia looks towards the balance of power and multi-polarity in the world. We value Russia’s voice as the voice of reason, and we would love if Russia, being a powerful country, plays its role in bringing peace to South Asia and beyond. And we expect that Russia will do it, as the efforts being undertaken by Russia are generating good results,” he said.
