In Sweden...but cheap and direct flights are available from Stockholm to London Stansted and Heathrow...
Sweden does not have any good Pakistani dress shop...I guess there will be few in Norway though but most of our PDF members are from UK.
This is over one and a half decades ago, I went to Oslo and they had something called Pakistan House where any Pakistani could come and socialise with very cheaps drinks and games available. I think Norway may have lots of Pakistani fashion clothing.

xx

Hey Guys,

I need this little info from you guys as I want to buy a few Pakistani dresses for my better half before going to Pakistan. I'll be thankful if you can provide info about any shop within Europe, EU + UK where dresses can be tried before buying and have some quality stuff. Idea is to just have a day trip by air, select, try, buy and return. Already tried quite a few online-shops but didn't get what we wanted.

In Manchester we have a place called the "Curry Mile" on Wilmslow road, just a stone's throw from the city centre. It has a good selection of Asian clothes retailers:

It's the name of the mile stripe where the shops are located. The Pakistanis wanted to call it Little Pakistan, there were a few Indian and Bengali shops and they disagreed so the local council named it "Curry Mile" and the name has stuck since.

that is hilarious..........
Does the Curry Mile end onto **** Boulevard?

Sorry it's blanked out, what did you mean by ****? :-)

Curry Mile is the home to homesick Pakistanis living in Manchester. It has lots of Pakistani cuisine restaurants, clothes shops and grocery stores.
No prizes for guessing where I got this from?
