I thought so as I could not recognize that language at all even slightly. People from Kerala are usually majority Muslim, at least in KSA/GCC, and they are generally a pleasant/friendly people. Only had limited dealings with Indians from mainly Kerala and Gujarat. Both regions of India that Arabs have had very long trade ties with.

EDIT: Malayalam was the language. Forgot the name of the main language of Kerala and my brain automatically constructed a language called Kerali/Keralian.
