When will the next Indo-Pak war be?

Ask Sunny Deol , Ajay Devgun or some other 3rd Grade Indian Actor ... Shhh just don't ask Abhinandun :)

You must be kidding me. Kargil was a fiasco and disaster for us. Nations started taking India's side after that. Kargil was a turning point in kashmir cause. Our generals and politicians are on record saying we lost that war .

Name one general who said we lost Kargil war. It was NS who gave up our gains at the table.

Meri Jan I have asked you a simple question go do the research how much land Pakistan received in 1947 and how much land Pakistan controlled in 1965. If you had more land in 1965 then please stop change your statement and apologize for looking cool. In 1971 we lost bengladesh but we took its revenge and destroyed a whole country on 15 Feb 1989 which was responsible for us losing east Pakistan. Please check that and come back again. I am only giving you a reality check. Aap ko cool banana hai ya reality par baat karni hai?

India controlled 710 sq miles and we controlled 210 sq miles. This is reality isnt it? We initiated that war to win kashmir and what did we get in the end? The country that destroyed us is still there and kashmir is also still there.

We did not got it? GB and AJK were given to you as a gift by British?

And who started 1965 we or India?

Kindly study operation gibraltor. It was launched by ayub to take kashmir. So you didnt reply? Didnt India control more area? 710 sq miles is way more than 210 sq miles. Blind patriotism will get you nowhere.

These are all neutral assessments.

The war was militarily inconclusive; each side held prisoners and some territory belonging to the other. Losses were relatively heavy—on the Pakistani side, twenty aircraft, 200 tanks, and 3,800 troops. Pakistan's army had been able to withstand Indian pressure, but a continuation of the fighting would only have led to further losses and ultimate defeat for Pakistan. Most Pakistanis, schooled in the belief of their own martial prowess, refused to accept the possibility of their country's military defeat by "Hindu India" and were, instead, quick to blame their failure to attain their military aims on what they considered to be the ineptitude of Ayub Khan and his government.

  • Former New York Times reporter Arif Jamal wrote in his book Shadow War[9]
This time, India's victory was nearly total: India accepted cease-fire only after it had occupied 740 square miles, though Pakistan had made marginal gains of 210 square miles of territory. Despite the obvious strength of the Indian wins, both countries claim to have been victorious

  • In his book titled The greater game: India's race with destiny and China, David Van Praagh wrote[8]
India won the war. It held on to the Vale of Kashmir, the prize Pakistan vainly sought. It gained 1,840 km2 (710 sq mi) of Pakistani territory: 640 km2 (250 sq mi) in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan's portion of the state; 460 km2 (180 sq mi) of the Sailkot sector; 380 km2 (150 sq mi) far to the south of Sindh; and most critical, 360 km2 (140 sq mi) on the Lahore front. Pakistan took 540 km2 (210 sq mi) of Indian territory: 490 km2 (190 sq mi) in the Chhamb sector and 50 km2 (19 sq mi) around Khem Karan.

  • Dennis Kux's India and the United States estranged democracies also provides a summary of the war,[124]
Although both sides lost heavily in men and material, and neither gained a decisive military advantage, India had the better of the war. New Delhi achieved its basic goal of thwarting Pakistan's attempt to seize Kashmir by force. Pakistan gained nothing from a conflict which it had instigated.

  • Uk Heo and Shale Asher Horowitz write in their book Conflict in Asia: Korea, China-Taiwan, and India-Pakistan[127]
Again India appeared, logistically at least, to be in a superior position but neither side was able to mobilize enough strength to gain a decisive victory

I can provide you more authentic sources if you want. These are neither Indian or Pakistani sources.

I don't have blind patriotism but being a blind parrot will also lead you no where. Did you get kashmir Jammu and GB in 1947? Or did we captured it after 1947? Bhai I know the name of first man in blood line who converted to Islam and I know what we have achieved so far being a Pakistani. Do you know who was the first in your family who converted to Islam?

May 26 1956 India laid claim over chitral. Which country is chitral in today?

I am encouraging critical analysis something that our military severly needs. What did we do with the small land that we captured? Something that happened 72 years ago? Wake up. So far we achieved very little to be honest. India can atleast say they made Bangalore an IT hub of the world or tried to land satellite on mars. What can we boost about?having a major general as head of suparco?

What do you mean? Capturing GB gave us connectivity to China. CPEC is possible today thanks to our control of GB.

Small land? Lol. You think GB is a small piece of land? That is why I said don't try to look cool if you are not. You want to raise alarm by insulting us? You half wit. Get your priorities correct first then try to speak. You know too much about your own history? You only know about your history what British and Americans have told you out side that you people don't know any thing. Ayub khan was a man unlike any so think before you speak. Or I also know the reality of bhutto don't make me spit that out.

Look at you hopping all over the place. I gave you facts and figures and neutral analysis on 1965. Grasping for straws? Insulting who? Great Nations do critical analysis and self assessments. In our country they brainwash your mind with propaganda and introducing extremism through syllabus books.

Yes the same ayub who ridiculed fatima jinnah? Rigged elections and publically humiliated her. You might like to polish boots of such generals but I dont.

Bhai you like to polish boots of bhuttos I know keep up. But I cannot do that. Ayub and Muhtarma Fatimah Jinnah had their political differences I agree but what about Ayub and bhutto come to that space. Who was Bhutto better than Ayub? I know today is a big day for you and my condolences but if you think I don't know how bhutto was responsible for breaking east Pakistan than you are at mistake.

When I come to bhutto you also hopp all over the place why?

Who gave you this idea about me being a fan of bhutto? I am a fan of democracy though and I like civilians being incharge . In Human development index we are ranked 150 out of 189 . So we should be focusing all our energies on developing our nation instead of obsessing about our failed military adventures.

You rank 150 out 189 because of your democracy. British left India in 1947 along with their viceroys but left behind their democratic servants to serve their interests. From 1947 to 2018 your democray have been taking wealth from subcontinent and placing it in the hands of their masters in Britinia. You want proof for that or my word is enough.
Lol democracy. There is an old book if you can find please read it. It is called siasat kay firoun.
Bhutto was democray who nationalized whole Pakistan or Nawaz was democracy who ran Pakistan Govt from bholi juice corner in liberty Market lahore.

Nopes we rank 150 because of our obsession with jets , tanks and missiles. We spend 3.5-4 % of our GDP on defense which is way higher than alot of countries and the highest in south asia. Our generals have looted this country . Musharraf alone looted around 100-200 billion. Zia brought extremism which was the final coffin for us as a society. The lesser said about yahya and all these corruot incompetent jarnails the better. For us to be a normal country we have to let this obsession let go. We even have fake missiles in every chowk of Pakistan. Like wth.
