The areas u mentioned are far flung and were of no use. Boundary demarcation was non existent, its been like this forver untill modern times. Current day Pakistan was western india and most invasions came from west and hence muslim population density.
I disagree about british rule being blessing for muslims becase 1. Brits were more hostile to muslims, rebellions were also majority muslims 2. Without british, current day pak, Afghanistan and portions of iran and central asia would have merged to one powerful muslim country, along with muslim country in begal, india would then be living under fear of powerful muslims in west as it has been before brits.

You are barking up the wrong tree, mate. Tipu Sultan, and many others, are just greedy rulers desperate to hang on to power for their own personal gains. It is just in this region, that we have a habit of exalting even the most basic rulers as some sort of great nationalist or religious figures who defended their people against cruel foregin oppression. Tipu Sultan did his fair share of oppressing. Just like all other rulers, everywhere.

Do you mean to say that we Hindus don't love cats. My cats consume more meat and fish on a daily basis than the family. Respect for animals and environment is ingrained in our culture and religion.
