Do you mean to say that we Hindus don't love cats. My cats consume more meat and fish on a daily basis than the family. Respect for animals and environment is ingrained in our culture and religion.
Nice to know that your family has cats and they are well looked after.
I did not really want to make a blanket statement that Hindus don't like cats.
I know that in Bengal and Kerala, all religions there like cats.
What I wanted to say was stray dogs in much of India, numbering about 35 million, have killed cats to the point of extinction.
Also, it would be nice if you post some pics of your cats.
