Congress on Thursday charged the Modi government with pushing Jammu and Kashmir back to the 1990s, when militancy was at its peak, due to its wrong policies and said what was happening in the state was the “Gujarat model” from which the people needed to be saved.

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said the BJP, which is in power both at the Centre and in the state, should take the blame for the “excessive” use of force in Kashmir in the wake of protests over Hizbul militant Burhan Wani’s killing in an encounter.

He also accused Pakistan of fomenting trouble in Kashmir and being responsible for its “destruction” ever since the partition.

“The way BJP has put pressure on regional political parties and blackmailed them to form a government with it…. otherwise they will not get money from the Centre.

“Today this BJP government has brought the situation in Kashmir, which had normalised, back to the 1990s because of its wrong policies,” he said, adding the previous Congress dispensations had treated it as a serious issue and restored normalcy.

“What is happening in Jammu and Kashmir is the Gujarat model. May God save us from such models,” he said.

Accusing Pakistan of creating disturbances in the state, he asked it to stop interfering in what was happening in the Valley. “I would like to tell Pakistan not to interfere in these incidents. Pakistan is responsible for this destruction happening in Kashmir since 1947 till today. Pakistan is also responsible for bringing hatred in the community.”

Blaming the Centre and state government for the current situation in the Valley, where hundreds have been injured in clashes with security forces, Azad said if the Modi government wanted to solve the Kashmir issue, it needed to talk to Pakistan.

Azad, a former J&K chief minister, said during the first Cabinet meeting of BJP-PDP government, it was discussed that there has been “excessive use of force”.

“If both are saying that there has been excessive use of force, then it is a matter of serious concern. Someone in the BJP government should own up.

“They give us a lot of sermons. The BJP, both at the Centre and state government, should be answerable for this use of excessive force on civilians. Central government should also take blame for this,” he said.

. .
not enough force.

Anyone attacking innocents, police, military and CRPF should be responded with equal measure.
We should learn from our neighbors in dealing with terrorists.

First Muslims killed Hindus, so later Hindus killed muslims. Every action have its own opposite reaction. Gujarat teaches that perfectly to everyone.

These animals have no cencept of golden rule..I doubt they even understand the atrocities committed by them. They in all probability think genocide of Pandits is their birth right just like it's their birth right to burn train full of Hindus.

dont lump together anti-national forces with sporadic social disturbances. Kashmir is a different case.

Is it? How?
they killed their own people in Pandits, raped the Pandit woman, looted and massacred them. Want to have a wild guess as to why Pandits were targeted in the valley?

Yeah, it is the same reason why Hindus were burned alive in Godhra.

I have stopped pretending otherwise. If some people wants to keep pretending, it's their funeral.

Not every muslim conspired to burn them, a few ppl dont represent the majority. ppl who did the crime were punished by the law.
Dont throw irresponsible words just bcos you hate something. Whether you pretend, eat it for lunch or sleep on it makes no difference. If you have a issue approach the courts thats the right way of doing things.

.
Congress at its lowest playing politics with the Kashmir. Why didn’t this congressi compared riots happened under their rule.

Please point out to my posts which said the highlighted part of your post?

Courts! You are joking right? Or did you forget the news article "And then they killed him" by our sickulars or perhaps all the debates?

Stop this nonsense of trying to twist my words. I know it's a few people who do the act. I am talking about the few people only. Your's is the typical defense...The words are twisted so that person's mouth is shut up?
Sorry, my life and life of my children and others are more precious than me being called names. So, I will keep shouting the "truth" and you can keep shouting the crap you are shouting at me.

An advice to congress.... When you're already inside a deep pit, stop digging..!!

Correct me if I'm wrong...The following facts I know:-

1. The train was carrying people who were coming from the site which was once a Masjid but destroyed by fanatics. 59 people died in the train.

2. A committee made by the central government said the fire was an accident.

3. 31 Muslims were convicted but the causes of the fire are still not known.

4. Some experts have said this Train incident was done to facilitate the riots.

5. Officially 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus died in the violence. Unofficial figure of Muslims is 2000.

6. There was killing, raping, burning of children alive, looting and destruction.

7. Reports emerged of government officials and the police gave locations to Hindu Rioters.

8. Experts have called this a genocide, state terrorism and ethnic cleansing.

What am I missing here?
