Hi guys, I want to know what is your theory of why African living in Horn of Africa have a sharp nose compared to West African. Tutsi tribe also have sharp nose despite living side by side with Hutu tribe who look like Western Africa.

Both of them live in quite similar environment so why they look different ?

Arabian/Semitic blood. The average Semitic-speaking highlander (Habesha) in Eritrea and Ethiopia are on average 1/3 Arabian/Semitic by blood, sometimes even more. This relationship dates back millennia. Mostly Arabian men establishing kingdoms in Horn of Africa and intermarrying with local mostly Cushitic speaking Horners. This relationship is actually rather deep and I do not think that it was a coincidence that Prophet Muhammad (saws) and the Sahaba sought refugee among the Abyssinian king.

Just search on "Habesha" on PDF and you will see a few posts of mine dealing with this topic in relevant threads.

Ethiopia was the only African country not to be colonized and they (Horn of Africa as a whole) has the most impressive ancient history of the non-Semitic/Arab/Afro-Asiatic speaking lot in Africa.

Ethiopia is also poised to become an African powerhouse.

As for the women, they are indeed some of the most beautiful. I am talking about the Habesha here. Many have striking Arabian facial features, just with an obviously darker skin color. One of the most beautiful women out there (by far) if you ask me.

BTW it is a myth that all Africans are the same. It is the most diverse continent on the planet for a reason. A Nigerian looks very different from a South African and an Ethiopian looks very different from a Congolese. It is like outsiders often grouping every Middle Eastern population together, East Asian, European, South Asian etc.

@Indos @jamahir

The fabled Queen of Sheba was Arhamic.

She was Yemenite/Arabian/Semite. The name as well. Just like the avatar of yours (winged symbol) is an ancient Semitic symbol that the Persians adopted when they first appeared in history some 2500 years ago and began interacting with the mighty Mesopotamia.

Thanks for the explanation.

Do you believe with out of African theory bro ? If out of African theory is true so why there are negrito people that are found in South Asia (Andaman island) and South East Asia (Malaysian/Philippine) where the feature are still quite similar with African ? Even there is remaining of negrito in Japan that is predicted to live there thousand years ago. There is also Papuan living in Indonesia who are pysically very close with African.

Where the Arab/Semite people are originated from ? They dont look African but are living quite close to them.

So far everything in the scientific community (in this regard at least) points to an "out of Africa" theory. The cradle of homo sapiens was thought, without much doubt, to have been East Africa/Ethiopia/Kenya/Tanzania etc. based on archaeological findings.

Some years ago the oldest human fossils to date where discovered in Morocco.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/07/science/human-fossils-morocco.html

Who knows what they will find in 10-20 years time? History is constantly being rewritten.

The oldest human fossils outside of Africa have been found in Arabia (KSA).

https://www.discovermagazine.com/pl...l-timeline-for-human-migration-gets-a-rewrite

What there seems to be a consensus about is that the first homo sapiens originated in Africa and so far archeology confirms this.

Nothing strange about this. Those people are just remnants of the earliest migrations out of Africa (crossing Arabia as the first non-African landmass) that migrated eastward all the way to Australia. Apparently those early migrants intermarried with other existing humanoids in those regions (Denisovans in Indonesia for example).

As for Arabs/Semites we are an indigenous Caucasian population native to the Arab world/Western Asia/Middle East. Our closest genetic relatives are populations of the Middle East/MENA, Europe, Caucasus.

Horn of Africans (at least the Semitic speaking lot - Amharas, Tingriya etc. and certain populations in Northern Somalia - Somaliland) are, as I wrote, an fusion of Arabian/Semitic speaking Caucasian populations from Arabia intermarrying with local Cushitic speaking peoples of Horn of Africa.

That explains their Caucasian like features compared to the stereotypical African from say Nigeria or Congo.

But as I wrote, Africa is the most diverse area in the world and Africans differ a lot in appearance.

You also have the (tallest people on earth) in South Sudan, the Nilo-Saharan speaking Dinka, who also have Caucasian features (skull, nose etc.). There are theories of proto-Afroasiatic (oldest existing language family in the world - Arabic belongs to this branch) speakers (almost 20.000 years ago) intermarrying with the earliest Nilo-Saharans.

Anyway it is an interesting topic.

BTW, also do some reading on the North Sentinelese people in the North Sentinel Island. Remnants of some of the earliest migrations out of Africa.

Anyway we might as well move this discussion to the "Arabic Coffee Shop" thread.

This is the actual problem we are facing. If you oppose pro Iranians and they end up dragging Middle East in and if you criticize KSA, people bring Iran in.
I don’t understand the unnecessary sentiment of Pakistanis towards these two countries.
you are doing the same here
You could only defend Iran without bringing KSA in and same goes for the people who defend Saudis
I think you misunderstand me. I am secularist and with time I have become uber-secularist. I despise the use of Islam for political purposes or to score points or to act pious. I hate Iranian clergy, I hate Saudi orthodoxy and monarchy even more. Although both are disgusting forces but between the two I recognise KSA has done more damage to Pakistan consequent to us being a Sunni majority country. Both however are despicable but only that KSA because of it's greater inroads into Pakistan has wreaked more damage to our society. That would require a thesis so I will leave it at that. All this merely reinforces secularism to me. In my scheme a athiest, a shia, a sunni, a hindu, a sikh, a christian would be exactly equal in Pakistan. Being Pakistani would be the identity. Not poxy religion, sect, ethnic group etc.

Going to the specfic thing you mention I use KSA because those who chrun out anti-Shia rubbish tend to be Saudi wannabe spawns.

Bro, I stick with the teachings of the Holy Quran where the first human was recorded to be Adam (as) and um Eve (Hawa) (as) was created from him. Every other human has descended from him, and we're generation after generation on this earth. I found the whole DNA thing evolving, where those archeologists keep digging old fossils in the Horn of Africa, Somalia being the least explored country. I make sure hypothesis of people who study old fossils don't put my eman (belief) in shirk and in jeopardy.

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am going to create a human (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him.” (Quran 38:71-72)

“‘Verily, I am going to place mankind generations after generations on earth.’ They said: ‘Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You.’ God said: ‘I know that which you do not know.’” (Quran 2:30)

"O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord Who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, his zaowja (wife/mate), and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women" (S. 4-:1).

I also think the same as you, and I believe modern human that comes from Adam and Hawa never intermarried with homonim like Netherlental or other kind of Hominid (Homo Erectus). Our difference are merely caused by climate and also what Allah intention when creating our feature. He has said He will create nations and tribes from Adam and Hawa offspring.

Those Hominids (primitive human) I believe have vanished before Adam and Hawa were created just like what happen with dinosaurus and on those verse that you brought it is clear that Angel has some kind of reluctancy when God intended to make human as they may see what the hominids were doing on earth.

If those out of Africa theory comes from the believe that hominid in horn of Africa are the source of modern human, I can say I would reject it. Do you study out of Africa theory bro ? Is that the theory is backed by DNA finding ?

Despite so I think Somalian is quite neutral in appearance and has possibility to be the source of human.
