CDs are starting to make a comeback.

I've been picking up a lot of them on eBay for nearly dirt cheap.

Won't be like that in a few short years.

Just a friendly FYI

Failed format, I'm glad they're gone.. used to get scratched too easy. Used to have hundreds back in the day, despite my best effort, a lot of them are scratched and glitch playing.

miss those nice covers though, lyrics and art, photos, credits

maybe they should start selling USB sticks but with an art style and all the older goodies, posters etc

What's old is new?

Vinyl records for quite a while virtually disappeared with the CD gaining massive
popularity.

It's only within the last half decade or so vinyl came back strong. Hence, the CD is starting to make a comeback.

Yes yes, streaming is great, but there's something to be said about physical media.

Anyway, I can only speak for myself.

I collect mostly vinyl, but have recently bought Cheap "Ministry of Sound" and 'Hed Kandi" CDs from the early to mid 00's that I really like which aren't available on any of the streaming services.

At least, here in the US anyway.

I ripped them all to hi-res FLAC files so I can also listen to them on my digital audio player
