When did I say I never knew a single word of Urdu? Knowing words, even catching the thrust of a sentance does not mean I have command of Urdu. I come from Pakistan and it would be odd if I did not know a single word of Urdu. I can't converse, can't read or write it. However when I hear people talking I can catch the meaning although I might miss the nuances or might need to hear it twice to figure it out.Gosh ET.
