I was like 12 or something, watching TV at home when suddely all channels started to show the same it really annoyed me, didnt know about the importance of that day back then.

I was shopping for trainers when I saw everyone converge on the Sony centre to watch the TV's reporting the attacks. I can remember thinking how the hell did they do that? It's the US we are talking about, then sadness for the victims.

Was drunk, came back to the hostel and saw guys watching tv. My only thought was about how to get something to eat. No one cared about what was happening in the US back then. Got to eat bun kebab at the end

It was 7:30 PM in India. I was at home doing some homework. (I was in std 11th). My father came to the room and said that WTC has collapsed. Spend the rest of the night trying to catch News on TV. There was no internet those days

I was very young back then . My dad had friends over and they were drinking and I remember what one of his friends said back then " Now the west will understand what it feels to be like victims of terrorism ". Back then no one in the west used to take threat of terrorism seriously and India used to suffer a lot. Back then every month or so there used to be a blast in India( somewhat similar to situation in Pakistan a couple of years back ) and we had no international community support .

In hindsight I realize how right he was .

I was in a School back than when the news broke out, well everyone's reaction at the school was normal, didn't knew much about the consequences of the attack that our Muslims world would face later on. But on next day, my elder brother popup something very interesting that the flight number of one of the planes was Q33NY and if you change this into a Wingdings font in Ms Word than it appear something like a plane two buildings death and an Israeli flag, I have no idea how did he find it but he did it somehow the next day after the attack. And also he tried to tell us that no plane can bring down such an enormous buildings in such a short period of time in such a manner, he was only a college student back than.
