All we have seen till now from them is to increase this tax, impose tax on that etc. etc. nothing else. nothing out of the box, nothing visionary, no policy at all to improve the situation. They are all running around like headless chickens. A lot of organizations are paying extremely heavy allowances to their employees, and are nothing noticable, ayyashio main zindagi guzaar rahay hain unkay employees. but businessmen and their employees are to blame for current situation.

The PPRA rules ensure that the govt keep leaking money, that the govt purchase a thing worth 100pkr for 500pkr, but no, that wouldnt be set straight. Instead taxes on oil, ghee, flour etc are being increased. PTI is turning Pakistan into Africa, maybe worse.

It costs Rs15,000 to hire a Hiace van from our village to Islamabad airport. During peak season some of these guys are doing two trips a day. Why shouldn't they pay tax?

Yes , it will. but what will happen when people cant pay? when the businesses come to a standstill because people couldnt afford things? form where will the govt get its precious taxes then? Automotives will go down(they should, they were supposed to localize production, and even export, they didnt). Sugar mills wil shutdown, textile mills will shutdown, oil/ghee producing companies will shutdown. Electronics companies like Haier, Dawlance etc will shutdown. who will pay income tax then? who will pay wht when they are not buying anything?
