Hello ,
I'm interested to know the type of paintings you love and admire .
Please tell me about your choice or post those .

Thanks for the tag.
I love paintings, most of them belong to the genre of hyperrealism, minimalistic and simple portraits.

Minimalistic paintings like these>>>

Hyperrealism genre is enticing
Like this painting here, the painter has captured the reflection on the glass very well. It's photorealistic! Isn't it???

My preferred medium of paintings are watercolour and oil paints.
Raja Ravi Verma of Kerala (18th century) is famous for the portraits he painted. Most of the time it belonged to pretty lasses. I think he's done justice to each character by making them look beautiful... like this one here>>>

Nice share ..
especially the Indian woman one . I've great admiration for southasian art .

About the glass , I always wondered what colours do they use to give that glass a realistic look , I never found that color .

this is the reason why Punjab food authority got established :P

Haazma kharaab hogyaaa :D

If you observe closely there's more to that painting than just a pretty face that I had pointed out earlier.
He has managed to show the shadows perfectly (like around her lashes, to the left of her head etc).

Have you tried any of the 3D softwares like 3DsMax or maya???
I think rendering in such softwares give a better idea of colours and lighting.
