After other members displaying their outrage, some member came along and pointed out how Google displays ads based on your browsing habits, that shut them up quite quickly. Very funny stuff.

I don`t actually understand it quite well , some websites refuse to load if ad blocks are enabled , citing loss of revenue by use of adblockers as they depend on advertisers and users clicking on them . I assumed websites get some revenue by directing users to those sites and eventually making them buy some physical products and generating profit which they share with referrer by help of google ..

i am not an expert but my guess is that these websites are directly involved in the ads, ie their revenue depends on the surfer clicking the ads. i think this website just sells its space to google. irrespective of how many clicks the ads gets the webby gets paid. i may be wrong abou this, need to confirm

admin uses google adsense so more views + more clicks = huge revenue , less views +less &more clicks = less revenue thats how adsense works

so google adsense works on more views if you want more revenue

Thats why I use PDF on separate Browser Opera, with no ad on.
I get military, Golf, University related ads

Plus opera doesnt block PDF in Bangladesh. Chrome and Firefox blocks PDF in BD.

For everything else I use Chrome with every possible AD on. So no Ads on other websites :azn:
