Ok, your military is not much good then other militaries of the world. Even Pakistan's and India's military is better than Iran's military. You people should do better for latest arms technology for your military.

Good .Enough for Iran normal external threats .But not a chance against powerful militaries like US.Need more investment ,technology.

Military.....Good enough to take on Israel alone
Not good enough to defend from US+Israel Onslaught

I'm no expert but from what I gather overall... good army, weak airforce, navy ? I have not much of an idea and wtf was that US carrier mock up thing ? but it's good enough to cause some serious disruption in the straight of hormuz, and that's all that matters really

again, I don't know a whole lot tbh, but just glancing over the inventory, the air force looks like the weak link. No doubt the sanctions have been a drag and have held you back considerably but the real silver lining is that it forced you to indigenize production and invest in RnD without a lot of outside help, that's a good thing.. and we can see some results in the drones for now (the Qaher-313 though , less said the better.. sorry)

I hope Iran can manage some sort of nuclear deal with the US soon, and may the subsequent easing of sanctions lead to full access to the international arms market... if not the US/EU, China and Russia will for sure throw open a big part of their inventory for potential sales, and who knows, perhaps some military/tech collaboration with India as well :o
let's hope so anyway

actually bro its not the weapons you have aur the jets that you keep showing on the internet like Qaher 313...its the decisions that you make....you guys dont seem to counter the American and Israeli agenda in Iraq being a well trained army. thats all what i think...

Iran is being pragmatic about its armed forces, They have thus achieved many breakthroughs on their own. The weaknesses of the air-force have been alleviated by potent air defense systems, the navy has missiles on almost all its platforms from the smallest to the largest, and a good fleet of submarines, The army is quite powerfull with its own tanks and major weapons made locally. The IRGC is a force to reckon with on its own, on top of it all you have some very potent ballistic missiles with state of the art technologies.
In any war, quantity has its advantages while quality has its own too, combining both gives a superior edge, Iran is doing just that.
I believe that a much more sophisticated Qaher-313, than what has been shown will be produced in quantity, like the Fateh class submarine, Bessat and Abbas class submarines.
Iran is already working on jet engines, and some breakthroughs will come soon, either in revealing a new engine or improving on existing ones. The UAV/UCAV technologies are impressive, now if one adds the technologies acquired from the US drones, iranian drone technologies will be catapulted into the 21st century very rapidly.

Your missile forces is something, and for armored and artillery corps if you compared it with other country in the region they are not too special. Pakistan and Saudi armored/artillery corps has more potential and actual power than yours. Your infantry units is quite well trained and well equipped and numerous too.
