Some do, but much much less than before. China is still a developing country, and uncivilized manners can be still found in China, especially people from not very developed rural regions.

Deep history and civilization, although the current Communist regime is a culturally barbaric inheritor of Chinese civilization. I will acknowledge that in the past 30 years, they have planned China's development very well and currently there is no viable alternative.

Very large gap in development between the regions. The older generations (over 40) are basically uncultured and uncivilized savages, this is why Chinese people have a horrible reputation worldwide. The younger generation (under 25) is a lot more civilized and educated.

The only superpower that backs us in general whereas the Americans, and other western powers have been well not so great always poking their nose all the damn time tho I wished we had good ties tho not alliance with the Soviet Union shame our leadership did not do that and made us a Yankee lackey for the Cold War era, we could have had a large Eurasian state like that on our side but I wonder how would the Sino Soviet spilt would have affected us had we took that route since we neighbor China anyways besides Turkey,KSA and GCC (bailout) they are not superpowers just middle powers however you guys are aliens we are Conservative Muslims you are Atheists mostly attitudes towards religion is different hence average Pakistani not a diaspora Pakistani like myself would have hard time hanging out or being close friends with a average Chinese you could see missunderstandings between Chinese workers and Pakistani folks its hyped up by naysayers and rivals but shows a gap between our cultures.China unlike the Soviet Union focused on lifting living standard not putting money in defense the US is making the same mistake now as well.Chinese people are hard working as many folks say also good with money and I work in real estate very great at doing that in the US, however many of the new wealthy ones can be bit show offs which annoys me dont stoop to Gulf Arab levels guys, your government soft power is pure garbage I am sorry to say this CGTN,Xinhua, New China and Peoples Daily do a terrible job at promoting China we want to see more culture stuff not ohh you built more high speed train or skyscrapers and not token cultural dances more emphasis on Chinese tradtional culture another thing I admire and I wish we Pakistanis had more nationalistic feelings like you guys and more self confidence in their nation Chinese are optimistic Pakistanis are in between one is deeply pessimistic or overtly over optimistic

Would you say the same about the KMT I recall once in a convo with a Chinese diaspora dude that the ROC and PRC were not great but would prefer return of monarchy but would wish the Qing Dynasty reformed like the Japanese did under Meiji

That's bullshit. China would have started developing in the 50s. It would have been an ally of the US and would've taken off economically in the 50s along with S. Korea, Singapore, Japan, etc. China would have become an economic powerhouse by the 70s and probably surpass the US as the world's largest economy by the 80s or 90s. Chinese society would not have gone through the trauma of the Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution, it would not have been run by an insane madman like Mao Zedong. Chinese traditional culture would have been preserved and Chinese society would have a basic level of human dignity and decency like Taiwan has today. Something that is sorely lacking in Mainland China.

The CCP are a bunch of barbarians, there is no doubt about that. Ask yourself why ethnic Chinese from Taiwan and Singapore are 100x more civilized than Mainland Chinese? It's because they were ruled by civilized people. Mainland China, on the other hand, was ruled by barbaric and savage CCP peasants.
