What is your caste?

Pakistan doesn't face that dilemma ! We don't have any caste reservations or anything of the sort; rather we have quotas for a) Non-Muslims and b) Certain Domicile Holders i.e people from relatively less developed areas like Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA, Azad Kashmir etc.

As far as the 'caste' is concerned ! Most don't give a wooden nickle about it...except people with a backward mentality where it'll figure in 'marriages' and the sort but nothing else. No legal rights whatsoever for any castes apart from what is granted to every other Pakistani and as far as I know 'castes' don't even feature on any 'Government Documentation' I've ever come across or signed !

P.S Sorry ! Abb tou Zainab ka kuch bataa do !
so how pakistan deals with the case of inter religion marriage if any happens that a muslim girl can avail non muslim qota after marriage with a non-muslim?

And how about say Punjabi or Sindhi domiciled in Baluchistan can avail those quota?

Zainab jitti badi ho rahi utti jada laaten marati hai.

Proud to be Maratha, who kicked Aurangzeb's 2-3 lakh army till his death with just 10-20 thousand strong army and reduced Mughal empire to just emperor of delhi.

I came to know about caste during college admission.

For better or for worse Pakistan is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan ! As such, to the best of my knowledge, a Muslim girl cannot marry a Non Muslim and the penalty for converting from Islam to anything else is death ! So she wouldn't be able to marry a Non Muslim and if she does she won't be able to avail anything else for in the eyes of the State she is a Muslim. Period. And I maybe be wrong on this one because you'd find one in a million inter-religious couples here so I dunno whether they got married in Pakistan or elsewhere but it maybe possible that in a court marriage you could ! I really dunno.

First off a Punjabi isn't given a domicile in Balochistan ! I've got family there since the '80s and they're kids have been born there but they still don't have Balochistan Domicile. The reasoning behind this is that because the Baloch themselves would become a minority in their own province if the Non-Baloch keep flooding in. Personally I think its a load of BS...if Lahore belongs as much to a Makrani Baloch as it does to me then Quetta should belong as much to me as it does to a Baloch ! At the same time concentrated efforts must be made to give preferential treatment to these underdeveloped areas to bring them on par (and perhaps exceed) with the rest of relatively developed Pakistan.

But a Balochistan or a FATA domicile holder can and do avail those benefits by getting into good universities in preference to say the Punjabis in the Punjab University ! And this is perfectly fine; if your own Brother lags behind you don't talk about equality and run at a pace he won't be able to catch up too but you slow down and hold his hands so that the family functions as it should - One unit !

And tell Zainab that Uncle Armstrong gave her a Pupppi ! :smitten:

Kshatriya community , Caste Devar or Mukkulathor (sub caste: MARAVAR(means Brave/fearless).

Again you are moving on to religious perspective.my argument is simple. What is the legal perspective of girl availing such quota in inter religious marriage hypothetically?

There is no reservation for Muslims, In Pakistan I haven't heard about of Muslim changing his/her religion...............

PS: Even if someone tried, Mullahs will not give him/her to avail quota :butcher:

So what? There are several scheduled castes there. Are you saying that inclusion in this list made them Kshatriyas?

I don't believe in all this crap, but there were clear definitions, and if you want to discuss the issue at all, you need to observe those definitions.

Some castes are scheduled due to their backwardness in education or financially .. that has nothing to do with caste hierarchy.

That too change with state to state .. for eg. Jat are OBC in UP but in General category in Haryana.

Do you got my Point ?
