I have been noticing that on this forum often citing ur article/post with an Indian media source is not considered credible enough.

Is it just due to the fact that this is a Pakistani forum or is there some logic behind this.

Media does portrays somethings in a wrong manner but I guess it is not just limited to Indian media ,it is true everywhere else in the world also

Some of the credible sources (according to me)-
1.The Hindu
2. NDTV
3.Times NOW

Plz post ur own list of Indian sources which u consider credible enough

.
Well I guess u need to pay more attention to the cr@p that the indian media dishes out at Pakistan for the sake of the local consumption.

.
hindu is ok.....

your ToI is just tabloid quality news; avoid that garbage

.
Do we have a similar understanding on Pakistani sources that are considered cr@p and shouldn't be quoted? Just for future reference, you know..!

It had nothing to do with the credibly of Indian sources,i have seen here people here from other nationality even showing some pathetic blogs as the source, and in return they receive 10's and hundred's of thanks

Media is the same everywhere, the problem here is not the Indian source but the source being posted by an Indian,i hope u can understand the difference, about the rest most of the Indian members know here about the credibility quotient

Got this info from Pakistani poster at another board,

In Pakistan there are 5 main news channel Geo, Dawn, Express, ARY, AAJ.

Geo - biggest but its also Pakistan's Fox.
Express - protects govt interests.
ARY - despite being mainstream can be very unreliable.
So in essence only Aaj and Dawn are two with total credibility. There are countless of others like Dunya, Samaa, Din which I don't even know why they exist since nobody watches them.

.
we have MANYY more publications; in Urdu, and in provincial languages

and Nation is one of the premier networks as well; surprised you forgot that one

In case of Indian sources, The Hindu is quite sensible. Avoid all others. In case of Pakistani sources, Dawn is the only unbiased source.
It's quite better if you give neutral sources. Meaning not a Pakistani or Indian source but mind you they are biased too.:flame:

ToI is fine if used by pakistani posters.....cr@p when used by indians.

There are number of sources |(Indian), which shows that they have ANTI PAKISTAN mind set.

We also observed during OBAMA'S visit to India, they media & people tried their best to presu strong words against PAK from Obama adminsiration using fake and invalid credentials. For that they used all of their machinary and power ....

This also not realised by PAKISTAN but also by world community thats y these sources are not appreciated. :)

Ok, 3 points here:

1. Fake/invalid credentials were used to pressurize Obama against Pak? Really? Any proof? Is Obama some sort of an Idiot that he'll get pressurized by Fake International Media?

2. The world community does not appreciate Indian Sources. How? Have there been any negative reports on Indian media by IAMCR? By INMA? By the World Media Association? By ANY international media association?

3. Regarding the statement that Indian media has an 'Anti-Pakistan' Agenda. Well, I see that as a nationalistic agenda and not focused solely at Pakistan. So as long as you cannot discredit the news (And I'm saying NEWS, not Editorials/Comments), the medium, be it ToI, Hindu, Dawn, or RupeeNews should not matter.
