What is pakistani culture?

AFAIT. Pakistani culture is the name of a process of cultural evolution happening in Pakistan right now. It will take us Pakistanis a century to build and it will not be homogenous but an integrated multicultural society. Differences make a country, beautiful - Pakistan will look different to what it looks like today in 50 years.

century to build? u mean u will have to wait for another 500 years to get married to any girl of another culture say bangladeshi:P haha ...just imagine Aeronaut getting married with a bending back and a stick in hand with no hair on head no teeth with another similar old lady of 100 years old:victory::bunny::chilli::rofl::lol::P

I was not talking about inter-ethnic marriages or solutions for it, normally in inter-ethnic marriages both parties put aside cultural differences. my point was existence of differences between different cultures of Pakistan. forexample how much my pashtunwali feels part of pakistani culture to an urban urdu speaker of karachi? To which extent "nowroz" of northern areas feel pakistani festivel to a lahori who celebrates "basant" festival.

That my friend is contingent on the degree to which we'd be willing to embrace the other as our own & to rise above (not forget) our ethnic & linguistic differences.

I'll answer it thus : The Kalash dance, though alien to the rest of Pakistan, is seen as a part of 'Our Culture/Traditions'...why ? We're not from those lands & that dance certainly isn't an off shoot of either the Khattak dance or the Bhangra & yet we're willing to own up to it as our own - Why ?

Answer : Because they're Pakistanis ! And despite our differences...that means a lot to the vast majority of us. We mustn't underestimate the bond of 'localized Pan-Islamism' that this country was founded upon. There is a reason why you'd see millions of Baloch in Sindh, Punjab & KPK, millions of Pashtuns all over the country & millions of Punjabis everywhere living in what were traditionally thought of as each other's ancestral lands; And the reason being - We're comfortable with each other...we're very comfortable with each other ! That thing about Islam bringing us together isn't just fluff. The reason why I as a Punjabi-Kashmiri would be able to appreciate the Pashtunwali is not because of something that was refined at the time of Ahmed Shah Abdali but because it in some ways shares some of the values I share; values we derived from Islam & incorporated in our own cultures.

Aeronaut's fiance is from a different culture. My cousin just married, a Pashtun girl from Peshawar, We are not discussing weddings here though.

When people say "pakistani culture" what does they mean by it? I am confused about this term. Does Pakistani culture means culture associated with ahal-e-zuban of urdu? or it is sum of cultures of all ethnicities of pakistan and if yes then how does it make any sense?....

Culture changes all the time.

Before it was close to the culture prevelant in the whole sub-continent, but now it is a bit more arabised with the elite following a more Western lifestyle.

Kids don't need much man.

Just two loving parents.

And your spending grows as your kids do.

Don't wait to have enough before you "plan" a family.

You will never have "enough."

But you will become a dadoo.

Sorry Doc, I am going to have tell Armstrong to not take your advice. @Armstrong it would be irresponsible to have children if you do not have the means to take care of them. Let's not forget the huge population overflow in Pakistan to begin with.
