Agni-VI(6) is an intercontinental ballistic missile being developed by India and the latest & most advanced version among the Agni (missile) program. Capable of launched from submarines or from land, it will be able to strike at a target of 6000km with MIRVed warheads

The SLBM version of missile will arm the Arihant class submarines of the Indian Navy.

The program was classified and was never disclosed to public till 2011. However, in the DRDO newsletter in May 2011, the described achievements of a recently promoted scientist revealed that he headed a program codenamed A6; Which will be a 6000 km missile with underwater launch and MIRV capabilities. This only confirmed that India has been actively working on the Agni-VI ICBM. The mentions of A6 were soon removed and a modified version of newsletter was published on DRDO website.:yahoo::bounce::no:

We should wait for DRDO To Officialy Confirm on A6 Before any Discussion On it

I think DRDO should not blabber until they actually test a missile. Its their habit of talking about heavens but everyone knows the ground realities.

it would be utter stupidity to restrict ourselves with 5k range ballistic missiles.... Any nation can kill to get such capabilities and here we are vying for moral grandstanding ...

Surya doesnt exist its all a rumor

if existance of surya missile(12000-16000km) is rumour then its waste of our energy.....

but if SURYA really exist........it would be most lethal weapons which we will have...........................

enemy will make there pants wet.....in front if surya....

First they must test A 5 which we are confident of getting successfull....
Then they can start work on surya...
