What if the Turkic-speaking world united as a single country in what many have coined as a "Greater Turkestan"? Pan-Turkism has a relatively short history compared to some irredentist movements, but a fascinating one nonetheless, as the Turkic peoples are unlike any ethnolinguistic group out there, as we'll discuss.
The Turkic peoples are scattered throughout Eurasia and beyond, having conquered, assimilated and intermixed with many diverse groups, leading to the extreme diversity in culture, genetics and appearance among the Turkic groups.

What a fascinating video, shame he spoke to quickly between transitions.

@Indus Pakistan you might be interested in this video, you seem to know a bit about ancient history. Are you aware of any such videos about our people?

Genetic history of P1-M45: Proto-Turkic ancestors of Europeans, Native Americans and Indians

Haplogroup P-M45 ( proto Turkic Peoples )

Time of origin : 45.000 years ago
Place of origin : Central asia and Southeast Asia
Descendants Haplogroup Q and R

These ancient Turkic peoples, throughout the last 40000 years, had migrated further into Euroasian steppes, Europe, America, China, India as well as Mesopotomia while bringing their highly intelligent civilizations to the indigenous populations and These ancient Turkic / Turanians also founded the civilizations of ancient Sumer, early Egypt, China, Indus Valley/India(Harappa) and furthermore influenced on every other early civilizations Sumerians , early Egyptians, Hittites/Hattians, Trojans, Lydians, Etruscans, Pelasgians, Basques and Celts/Picts, Indus civilizations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Dara, Incas, Aztecs, Mayans, and the builders of all ancient worlwide cities including South American cities of Tihuanaco and Karal

American genetic scientists have proved that Europeans ( haplogroup R ) and Native Americans ( haplogroup Q ) have proto Turkic blood

WILHEM II the last German Emperor ( Hun speech July 27, 1900 )

Should you encounter the enemy
He will be defeated
No quarter will be given
Prisoners will not be taken
just as a thousands years ago the HUNS under their King ATILLA
made a name for themselves may the name German be affirmed in such a way in China
that no Chinese will ever again dare
to look cross-eyed at a German

The love of the Turks and Germans to each other is so old that it will never break." 1871
Otto von Bismarck 1st Chancellor of the German Empire

The genetic link between Germanic and Turkic actually goes back to the Kurgan age, 5000 years ago. The great part of the nomadic Turks backmigrated into Central Asia (Afanasievo/Andronovo cultures), and a smaller part stayed in Corded Ware era Europe (Germanic/Oghur), according to Carleton Coon and Mario Alinei. At the beginning of the 2nd mill B.C. the Turkic peoples left their Urheimat in their majority gradually settling apart in the territory from the Carpathians to the Altai. 1500 years ago, these two parts united under the name of Huns. Unfortunately, Attila died without cutting off the snakes head. He was too good hearted. Our old unity broke away and the Vatican gained power ever since. Even the Gokturk era dna results display this Germanic-Turkic link. Another part of these ancient Germanics/Turks also migrated into Afghanistan and North India

British masonry mislabled them as "Hindo-Europeans". Take V. Pisani for example (1974, 14): "Proto-Sanskrit was the language of a ruling class, which was composed of Türkic-speaking riders of the southern Russian steppe and priests of Caucasian origin."

Fate brought us back together in WW1, but at this point in time we already forgot our common origins. Thanks to DNA research and linguistics, we now have the opportunity to come closer and build old bridges again

What about the non turkic people living in these region who will they join
What economic, cultural and political benefit will countries willing to join receive.
Are the rest of the turkic population willing to join such a country ?

Central Asia has to move more towards Turkey. It is a natural route for their exports and trade. People to people contact is also fine because the population shares many similar culture.

Capital would be Ankara and the lingua franca will be Turkish.

Lets be honest Turkey is the most powerful of all Turkic countries and the strongest one.

Turkiye shall lead the way. If Turkey can make the language lingua franca we can pump the numbers up to 200 million Turkish speakers!!

Azerbaijani and Turkmen are basically one and the same due to the Oghuz Link.

With Kazakhs and Uygurs I seem to understand them but it feels weird.

Crimean Tatar is also easy for us Turks of Turkey to understand.
