look there are some things always similar, but a bit different ! I take azerbaycan language as excample..
sometimes you can say something in a language in different ways or ppl use more one special way to speak and the others are more uncommon..
the lord prayer (dont look on the grammer it seems different but speaking is closer)
they say ata this is the original turkic word its also used in turkish but because of recent history they say baba and not ata
they say muqaddes an arabic word wich could also be used in turkish
they say patisah it exists also in turkish
they use in this translation the word irade it also exists in turkish
and they say cörek to bread? our village in turkey also use this word but for a special kind of bread.. I used to say this but other turks did not understand it they did not have this word seems now a little bit strange to me to find it in azerbaycani .. maybe some azerbaycani enlighten me about this word (cörek)
they use some other sayings, sometimes its understandable but in turkey we would not use it..
and if you go further in direction of east you will find many languages wich have other influences like mongol words or other languages
turkmen is very close also but not as azerbaycani I say one year in turkmenistan and you will speak turkmen language fluently..
crimerian tatar is also turkish alike
uzbek is also good to understand but has no harmony..
kazakh is a different league its very disturbing with all the "j" = dsh instead of y and many speakers seem to have russian dialect
but sometimes you got to speakers like this here and you say hmm there must be some kazakh dialects too wich are quite better to understand
uyghur language is far better to understand as kazakh or kirgiz but still you find material on internet where you think no and than quite similar..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FWSpyP2G0Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJucB1sf4mE very good to understand
or tuva turkic is very strange and disturbed and with influences from mongolian for a turkish speaker extreem hard:

here some of the song text with modified turkish

tatlı sevgilim yoksa, donan bağrım nasıl ılır?
this turkish translation is not normal turkish no turk speak like this..just for show how it could be
in turkish we dont say any more kara, ata, imdi, baatir, its the village redneks language (turkish).. better we say kedi (kitty instead of pisi) we use the word cocuk (piglet) for kid instead of bala we love to say nene (nena) just because its rednek language
finally better we add american style of accent into our language to sound like a whore
you will find many non turks influence in turkey language putting the original turkish words down with a bad habit like it (dog) we say now köpek and are using this word differently from its root..
