Nah,they are simply the Armed police wing of Bihar Police.You see during the British perid they established this force as a paramilitary unit and named it BMP but after independence they were merged with the local civil police of Bihar but those clowns didn't change the name.This has created a series of spats between the Indian Army and the Bihar Police as the former is only entitled to use the term "M.P." to it's Military Police Corp but the Bihar Police continues to use the term.
