What does Iran gain from letting RAW use its territory?

If that the cas me then Hitler should be a hero instead of Stalin....

Hi,

You are too young to know---. Hitler was a hero for pakistan---. If he had not broken down the british empire financially---we would not have been free---.

Your parents never told you that---?????

Iran plays the double game because we are "friends" with KSA. The shear amount of incompetence on part of Pakistani state has made this problem severe as well. While we lost thousands in this war, Pakistan is still not ready to change its foreign policy. Either we tell KSA and Iran to sort out their shit and keep us out of it, or we pick a side and declare the other side an enemy and done with it.

Hi,

You have to pick a side---but don't do like what Palestine and Jordan did during the 1st & 2nd Gulf war---.

I keep hearing people say that Iran either knowingly or unknowingly let RAW use its territory for attacks like the Turbat IED blast where the remote trigger was found across the border in Iran. I agree that this is smoking gun evidence that Iran is hosting RAW elements either implicitly or covertly.

But what nobody seems to want to talk about is why? What does Iran gain from allowing RAW elements near Pakistan border? What is their motive for this? How does Iran benefit?

Does Iran even know where these RAW elements are? Or did RAW sneak in without Iran's knowledge?
Check the Shia - Sunni divide for answers please

As far as the Balochistan insurgency goes, a strong insurgency will blow up in Sistan and Iran does not want that. So it is actually very critical for Iran not to support any insurgency in Balochistan.

The TTP are hardcore sunni and the Iranians don't like that. So again they would not be supporting the TTP.

The relationship with Iran is complex. We have geographical rivalry. Due to CPEC and Gwadar we also have economic rivalry which is fierce. Additionally Iran is a good ally of India. Modi or no Modi. Iran looks at India as a trading partner and a cash cow. It wants to sell oil and gas. India is a big country and energy hungry. It is easy for Iran to choose India over Pakistan. The existing rivalries only makes it easier. Just like other neighbors we also share a border and unfortunately there is a lot of disturbance here. There is no doubt that certain elements have been using this border to sow chaos and instability. We have small segment of Baloch people on our side who are loyal towards Iran. There are also militant groups on both sides that are used by outsiders to plot terror and instability. We have a sizeable Shiite population that is very loyal towards Iran. This also complicates things to higher level. Pakistan did good by building a fence. No doubt we also have the religious angle. Shia Sunni rivalry is yet another point of contention. Outsiders such as the Americans would have loved to exploit this faultline against Pakistan, but their relationship with Iran is beyond crap. This is a blessing in disguise for Pakistan. We also had major differences in Afghanistan. Whilst Iran has logically been supporting the Northern Alliance due to ethnic and religious similarities (along with India), Pakistan has been supporting the other side. Yet another difference in a list filled with competition. There is hardly any mutual understanding. The only light at the end of the tunnel was the IP project, but the Americans came and destroyed it for obvious reasons. We don't want this relationship to flourish and neither do outsiders.

In reality, we need to have normal relations with Iran. Hostility is not needed despite all rivalries and competition. Ideally both should work together. Neighbors become a curse for each other once they start fighting over pety things. They are a blessing when they work together for the betterment of their people and economy. Our relation with Iran is not nearly as terrible as it is with Modi's Hindustan. We need to find common ground despite differences and rivalries. We live in the same neighborhood. It is in our best interest to have a stable and prosperous neighborhood where trade and people to people contact thrives.

Despite our differences and rivalries ironically Pakistan and Iran have a lot in common. Iranian influence on Pakistan is colossal. From language, history to culture and ethnicity. There is a major bond between Pakistan and Iran.

Iranian regime wanted to have Gwadar to remove competition. Its the only deep sea port in the region. Iranian dominance over transit trade would've been cemented. They would've leveraged it by giving access to Russia, Cent Asia, China, turning Iran into a Middle weight power.

most countries use it as a cash cow. even though, I personally have been abused for and accused of 'looting' the sub-continent both by PDF injuns and to a larger extent by Pakistan flag displayers. if it were not for me robbing them, they'd be a galactic superpower.

but if you look objectively, you'll see that they can't wait to rob their people and in the case of bharat it hands over billions of dollars to Russia, America, France and now Israel too, in the vain hope that they'd be admitted to bigboy club..

and in the case of Pakistanis, they won't even shy away from stealing aid and loan monies and depositing them back in the donor countries

From promised investments, to political assistance on the international stage.

Absolutely wrong...it has nothing to do with friendship with any particular country ..
Iran has check mated iraq..syria..lebanon..yemen..almost bharian ..
Its about exporting revolution ..how complex is this?

Iran is an Expansionist Nation and Wants to Dominate Middle east the Notion that they do it because we are allied with Arabs is nothing more than Stupid for them we have been very careful with our relations with Arabs often at the cost of our own Interests Yet that has not given us any Favour with them. Then the Economic Prospects of a peaceful Baluchistan and CPEC and QTTA come in if we continue this road we will be ones dominating central Asia that is unacceptable to them. Pakistan is the only state Bordering Iran except Turkey where so far they have been unable to get any Political and Military Proxies even though both of us have a Sizable Shiite Minority. They know it that we are one the two states that wont allow their Domination in the Wider Middle east.

I know most People dont like to hear this but if Iran doesn't changes its policies in regards Afghanistan, Baluchistan and India in the next coming decades we are destined to clash with them. Their Behavior will force us to checkmate them. The only reason we haven't done it already is because of our preoccupation with our friends in the East. The sooner Afghan conflict reaches its end the sooner we will see the redeployment of Military assets stationed there to Baluchistan.

The Frankenstein Monster that they have created for us will change the public perception in Pakistan it has already done a lot in this regard go a decade back we were the most pro Iran state in the world.

The idiot clergy doesn't understand that people don't need this revolution where people have no freedom of speech. They lost 700,000 thousand young people with war with Iraq only to found out that Iraq doesn't want their revolution. How many are they willing to sacrifice to export this revolution?
And yes Iran and KSA both see us in relation to each other.

Iran before the revolution was a Pakistani ally, after the revolution, iran went 180 opppsite. So naturally the allies of shah became enemies of mullahs. Pakistan though having around 15% shia minority, kept silent and tried not to provoke iranian regime.
Iran on the other hand had realized that Pakistan was ally of shah, furthermore Pakistan also is a great friend of saudi arabia, Pakistan also supported taliban in Afghanistan, all these were enough signs for iranian regime to look at Pakistan as an enemy. This made them go for india and support for northern alliance against Pakistan, who are also indian allies.
The iranian current regime also uses religion and sect as its powerbase and they used it vehemently against Pakistan. Before revolution, Pakistan never saw any sectarian friction, after the revolution, this friction kept growing.
Currently iran is fully an indian ally, they are expecting indian funding for chabahar, they also expect india to help them with US in the future. Some people also gossip that India promised iran gets balochistan if Pakistan is disintegrated(never will happen IA). India have also successfully cashed the iranian alliance and their sectarian guardianship, shias in india are allied to bjp and even we see shias in kargil oppose Pakistan.
There are many other things and requires alot of time but reality is iran is Pakistan enemy and whoever thinks otherwise is sleeping. Even the Pakistani establishment knows this well but they want to go low on this. We cant afford to have enemies both to east and west and also that can cause sectarian tensions in Pakistan. Slowly though Pakistan is exposing their face and it wont be long before our patience runs out.

Hi,

The reason pakistanis say that is because they don't have their own identity---.

Muslims have killed miliions and millions of muslims over the years just the christians have killed christians---.
We only need identity of a muslim n secondly a muslim cannt kill a muslim.if he wants to remain muslim.those who did wrng will get justice...

Iran main purpose is to export its revolution thus every sunni country is it enemy ..
SUnni countries are not Iran's enemies, Dictatorial, US-puppet leadership in Sunni countries is Iran's enemy. Please get that detail correct.

I am sorry but this is the reality and no matter how we put it its wont change..
This is not the reality because you altered the target group you were identifying in your argument. You essentially warped a critical detail.
It has till now check mated three Sunni countries
So Sunni countries like Turkey, Qatar, Saudi ARabia didnt also "check mated" Iran and Assad in SYria? i mean what point are you making?? It sounds hypocritical. Everybody is fighting in Syria, but you only want to see Iran's fighting? bias bias!. Iran is not fighting Yemen, Iran is draining Saudi Arabia in Yemen, because it was too easy an opportunity, that naive KSA govt fell for by trying to invade Yemen when they didnt even have working 15K ground troops to finish the Houthis off.
..syria, yemen and lebanon all of which have same amount of minority (except Lebanon) as pakistan ..
Iran fought Sunni dictatorships colluding with NATO in Syria, you can focus on the other side of the Syrian "coin". Iran fought Saudis in Yemen, and fought Israel, US, Saudis in Lebanon. ITs call regional struggle. You want to win by having no opposition?Lmaoo..you've just telling a victim story instead of telling both sides of these issues.
I.
.India is major oil and diplomatic patner of iran..iran simply cant survive without india..it will die of hunger if india pullsout
This is an exaggeration, and your confirmation bias.
