What is Shashlik? Looks delicious!

Shashlik is a Central Asian/Russian dish in origin i believe. Its marinated chicken with grilled green peppers + onions and other green stuff. Served with rice = delicious !!!

PS: Our Pakistain version is slightly different from the Russian, Turkish one. They use lamb meat i think.

What a coincidence-----one of our friends went fishing and brought us a fish----about 26--28 inches plus long-------when I gutted it yesterday----you wouldnot believe it-----there was a fish in the stomach about 8 inches long---looked exaxctly like the fish in the picture----here in northern california---we don't have rohu---maybe we do---I don't know.

I believe Rohu or Labeo Rohita is found only in SE Asia.

i treated myself to a real champion's breakfast this morning....

2 aloo parathaas with chutney, and a fried egg. Someone gifted me a nice fancy little coffee maker so i used it also for the first time this morning...that should be enough calories and energy to last me till dinner time.
