What About : 40, Su-35 BM for Stratageic Forces Command ( India ) ?

The commonality is minimal when it comes to sensors and electronics.

Indian MKI uses European, Indian, Israeli in addition to Russian systems.

Same we can do with su 35 in case we need . .

Better Airframe

and Moreover, Russians have their answer for Loosing MMRCA.

What airframe changes . . I think its almost same .
And Russian already have FFGA deal and other too so i dont think it in that way

we should go for Su-35BM as an upgrade to our MKI fleet. (only need AESA radar, Supercruise engines & RCS reduction features)
For the SFC we should buy the Su-34 cause it's wider nose will allow a more powerful radar.

Rafale seriously :no::no: for SFC
let's let the IAF get them first.

There's a pilot in Su 34 using the Toilet. It's in between the 2 seats.

Seeing this I'm reminded of a military joke

One day a cocky fighter pilot was escorting a B52. He was doing loops around the big bomber with a 'look at me' attitude. Frustrated the B52 told the fighter pilot that he is going to do a maneuver. Th fighter pilot replied that he could do whatever the bomber could do. Even after a long time the bomber continued in its path. The fighter pilot radioed the bomber and told him to do the promised maneuver.

"I already did" replied the b52 pilot

"What? I didn't see anything"

"I just went to the toilet and made a coffee on my way back. Top that Mr. Fighter pilot"

If it's a strategic bomber they are after I'm surprised the Indian Airforce didnt want a look in to the PAK DA.
The Russian Air Force PAK DA is a fifth-generation strategic bomber intended as the replacement of aging Tu-95MS, T-22M3 and Tu-160. The PAK DA is being developed by Kazan Aircraft Production Association of Russia. The PAK DA stands for Perspektivnyi Aviatsionnyi Kompleks Dalney Aviatsyi which means “long-range future aviation complex” for Strategic Air Forces.
The PAK DA is going to be heavily based on Russia’s current supersonic bomber Tupolev Tu-160 and is expected to have it’s maiden flight by 2015. However it was also speculated that the PAK DA would be similar to the stealthy design of the America B-2 Spirit bomber.

LOL..BTW you might want to read this. I heard they used this technique while flying to the US for the Joint Airforce exercises some years ago as well. Don't envy those guys.

PAKFA is nuclear capable....why not use a stealth fighter and use the non stealthy one for a DP strike??

40 Su-35s for strategic forces command.Hmmmmm.....Why on earth are we acting like some kind of a super power. We are far from being a super power but our planned defense purchases speak otherwise.Get the MMRCA deal signed first and then dream about buying Su-35s.Frankly speaking we do not need separate jets for delivery of nuclear weapons. The existing fleet of Mirage 2000s and SU-30 MKI can be used to deliver nuclear weapons.Defense purchases should be restricted to what is needed. That's all.If we have money it does not mean we should fritter it away.

Because this is the best time to buy the aircraft. Remember Russia. At one point in time they were leading in weapons tech. After the economy fell apart, they can barely take-up projects without major input from other countries (India ). If We can afford to have a major defence upgrade now, they should go all out with it.
Besides, unless you start acting like a superpower (even if it's only speculation) no-ones gonna treat you like one.

it they want bomber then why they are not going for dedicated bomber like Tu-160 it is better with 40 f/a buy 5-10 Tu-160

And do you know why the USSR collapsed?Because they concentrated so much on military that they forgot about the ordinary populace. They invested billions in designing new jets so on and so forth that they forgot people in USSR were starving. We have several hundred millions who go to bed hungry and we are frittering money unnecessarily.

Yeah..but there is a difference. India has a policy of maintaining the Defence allocation to between 3-4% of the GDP. At one point there was even a suggestion of capping it at 2% (thankfully not done). If you compare CGE,it does not exceed 30-35%. We'd have to allocate a whole lot more of our GDP to go the Russian way.

yes we must concentrate and spend money to improve the life standard of poor people, but not by reducing defense spending's that needs to done by reducing Corruption..

Eg: Spectrum scam 1.76lakh crores, i dont need to tell what can be done possibly to improve the life standards of poor with that huge money.. We people are not worrying about these multi-billion dollar scams but we started to worry about spending a very less amount(when comparing with spectrum scam, common wealth and many more) for defense..

Now thats someone who thinks like me..No need to get Sukhois when we can have dedicated supersonic Bombers like this..
10 of these will be enough for us .. A squad of MRCA to escort them will also be needed...

The money involved in spectrum scam alone can fund another MMRCA deal. Just yesterday Kerala Police DIG said that the 'money chain scam' in our state involves upto 1000 crore rupees. The only silver lining is that the money is not lost from state exchequer but from private investors.
