Website inaccessable most of the time

These days PDF keeps going off line frequently..
Whats happening?

It is frustrating if you write a big reply, and everything goes in vain.

Yes 10s of my long written posts have been wasted because "Post Quick Reply" or "Post Reply" buttons wouldn't refresh. Thats pretty annoying when it happens.

Just a quick tip. After writing your post press Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C before clicking on 'Post Reply'. I've been doing this just in case...

Well- thats the only reason i stopped replying to posts which require an answer of more than one line- i just cant re write the whole thoughtful post again- and because of that i cannot actively participate in a discussion-
Its annoying and quite frustrating to see all your effort wasted by just one click on the reply button-
i used to do ctrl c and ctrl v thingy- but its not a habit and definitely not a permanent solution- Admins has to look into it-

P.S- most of the times the website suddenly stops responding- all the other sites work fine except this one- and this site becomes unaccessible for unlimited amount of time and because of that- i lose interest- and start to do some thing else- and its happening quite frequently- which has significantly decreased my time on this website-

I think PDF's been getting alot more traffic these days.

And surprisingly, it remains available/functional in most western countries when it's down in the East, like in Pakistan and China. I use proxy servers to access PDF from elsewhere, and it works more often. Sometimes it's down in the west too, but less frequently than in the east.

My guess would be, that they are doing load-balancing, perhaps their servers are located in the US or something, and they're favoring traffic from the western hemisphere when the load makes it impossible to support everyone.

Yes, that's why I "copy" the reply I am about to send, & save it in a .txt file, before hitting the "Post Quick Reply" button. It's saved me countless times.

If I can make a suggestion -- and I don't know if the site software allows it -- but it might be a good idea to create a read-only mirror site to offload guest (and banned members') traffic. Basically, anyone who cannot post would see that site. The mirror site could be refreshed every few minutes in the background.

Whenever I come Online. It doesn't work for me (75% Time). Specially when I try to reply. 1st few minutes works after that complete inaccessible once i try to reply even site does not open. Earlier i thought problem with me. but now i suppose its with everyone. Adminstrator should look over it.

I think the server might be busy. Maybe they need to modify it again?

yes it has become a norm , 5 out of 10 times there is no acess , also when replyig to posts and posting new threads , there is a message saying no data received!
