We were wrong in choosing India over Pakistan: Admits Mehbooba Mufti

They were beating stone pelters who were throwing stones at army with the intent to harm them physically...such people will be dealt in the same manner...nothing wrong
Why Kashmiris throwing stones on Indian uniformed personnel?

Reason: Illegal occupation and continuous oppression.

Nothing illegal...their raja gave kashmir to india..they were happy for 40 years until pakistan started instigating and arming them....anyway it seems after 30 years of unrest, man of destiny, modi seems to have brought everything under control.

No, Raja do not have the right to decide the fate of 20 m people of IOJK.

Who's we? The Kashmiri people in 1947 didn't choose India. The Kashmiri Assembly planned to accede to Pakistan. The Maharaja called in Indian Army.

How about Nawab of Junagarh ... he wanted to go with Pakistan ...

With the kind of issues faced by Pakistan and frustration it’s you who must get examined.

we only have one problem - State sponsored terrorism by India
Not a single objective achieved in the last 70 years.

here is one..

We can nuke all of india in less than 15 minutes ... strategic balance achieved.

Watch the video again...it was filmed during curfew when she was under house arrest
Curfew was lifted longback and she was released

There is no time stap on when the interview was taken. IOK is still under lockdown. Her release is not relevant since internet is blocked in IOK. We don't know the circumstance and timing. The bottomline is, the journalist tweet is few days old.

India restored internet in kashmir long back in kashmir.
There is no lockdown in kashmir now...it was lifted in may itself along with all other states. If you are referring to curfew that was imposed in august last year,it was lifted a month later in september itself.
Its better you so some search before posting something on such a serious matter.

Did you read yourself, your own link?

this is what it says "
The announcement applied only to 301 websites

Jammu and Kashmir remains under curfew and lockdown a year after losing special status

This was on the anniversary of IOK lockdown, this August. Besides, 2g doesn't have internet, no high speed internet, and whatever is allowed is highly regulated by the Indian establishment.

We can never say when and how the interview was taken under these brutal lockdown conditions in IOK.

Per my understanding, Mehbooba Mufti politics, unlike the Abdullahs, was always about a dialog involving Kashmiris, India and Pakistan. Her stance was bold and unpopular in the rest of India. She HAD to sound a patriotic Indian but she never gave up on the Pakistani role.
I respect her.
