Was Gandhi a saint or sexual predator?

. .
I'm not part of any teams such as leftists, rightists, etc. I have my own independent thought process.

Even better. You're like a covert agent for us. If something goes wrong, we can always deny your existence or involvement in our group. :yay:

Lol,
You mean there are forum rules that does not permit me to use harsh words on gandhi or mao?

Care to quote them?
You can't call respected person of a majority of Indians and world as vermin. You can criticize him on some of his decisions but don't call bad names to a person of such big stature.

. .
Pakistanis - happy to take the 55 crores Gandhi ensured they got as charity but still abusing him and insulting him. A lesson learnt by Americans who gave them a lot of money as charity. Next up, the Chinese will learn it.

Have some shame, you are basically abusing one of the most respected person of the world.

Unfortunate to see Indians abusing him as well. It's one thing to criticize some of the decisions of a person but it's an entirely different thing to abuse him.

Many Indians consider him as a hero of Indian freedom struggle and is still the 'Father' of our country.

He is a 'hero' in a very narrow sense of the term. He did lead from the front, safe in the knowledge that the British would want him alive and well because he represented such little threat to their rule. Taking care to protect british lives at the cost of Indian lives.

British dealt with REAL THREATS to their rule in a very direct and uncompromising manner.

Also he is NOT "Father" of the Nation.

If you had any doubts, an simple RTI would clear it for you.

Oh wait ..... here you go.

Most of their "evidences" are flimsy, not even worth a Wikipedia entry (and Wikipedia has become the most unreliable source for political information online, thanks to its jerk editors).

Their sources include YouthkiAwaz, Opindia, Swarajya, and of course BJP IT cell handles on Twitter and Facebook.

Hehehe, I am not an India mate. I don't do forgeries. I quote honestly from the sources.
@TheGreatMaratha It is from the same link the thread started quoted. Look at the middle of the article, this letter is published by the writer Rita Banerji.

You have a point here.
Gandhi can have respect for his achievements but also criticism for things he did wrong.
He is human and not a faultless saint.

Lets have a down to earth evaluation of his achievements and if his faults will diminish them.
In my view, it is difficult to honor a pedophile (or was it incest) who used his position of power to take advantage of the women around him, that is if allegations against him are true.

Mahatma Gandhi was also heavily influenced by the principles of Jainism. One of the beliefs of Jainism is to not wear any clothes and thus you see mostly see him with only a dhoti. He was half-Hindu half-Jain with his mother being a Jain and father being a Hindu (Vaishnav).

Anyway, what's written in the letter is clear propaganda against Mahatma Gandhi.

I'm not blaming YOU, Sir. You are only copy-pasting from one of the online sources. But who created those sources?

Almost all evidences against Gandhiji are flimsy and fabricated. And that's what we are here to prove!

Good one. Let's only answer the HONEST inquiries, and not the ridiculous troll baits. That will save time and energy.
