What's new

War is always an option to utilize wether you like it or not

Khan Saab how we know that they are not picking up arms? We are not getting any info from valley. Even the unbiased international reporting agency's are saying more than 500 clashes and almost 2000 to 8000 arrested. If we cant even get the info how will we know the ground reality. What if curfew stays for another 6 months and world chooses to hush hush then what are we going to do? Wait and wait and wait until extermination is in full swing.

Then let's live like Singapore lets close our eyes and wish our neighborhood becomes like Singapore and even they are threatened by Indonesia and felt the need for Israeli to train their army. PS it's only in 1989 that British left Singapore so not a comparison at all

You yourself are saying that Singapore got army training from Israel. That is the direct opposite of closing your eyes. It is simply recognizing reality-unless you're Costa Rica or Panama (which did, in fact, gain its independence peacefully), the countries near you will have interests to protect. Singapore is largely neutral-their priority is business and banking. I would argue based on Pakistanis tendencies towards heavy freelance work and entrepreneurialism, that Singapore is actually a reasonable model if a good investment infrastructure can be established.
Australia also got their independence peacefully from England, they are their own country...as is Canada. Both are very successful countries with great economics and respect from the rest of the world.

I would like to ask this question why war is not an option if its not then
1. Disband military and give Kashmir to India and spend that money towards economy and let's live like a bitch
2. Name one country on the planet which didnt witness war. War is a reality in which we live in. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Rohingya, Lebanon, Palestine, Kashmir that's a lot of war declared on muslims.
3. Name one country without military ?

So Mr PM and foreign minister war is always an option not for you maybe not for 5% elite but not he case with average Pakistani.
You have failed to provide
Security
Prosperity
Future for next generation
Economy
Kashmir solution
Now please for goodness sake dont live in fairy land if you think war is not option then you have lost the touch with ground realities and feeling of normal Pakistani. If you continue on this path you will be sidelined just like political elite as well as dictators because you cant suppress the feelings of people. You say the exact thing about Kashmir but fail to realize the feeling of normal Pakistani.
You watched and tweeted and phone called the world while average Pakistani showed you last Friday that your govt and some people have lost touch with public sentiment.
No policy on Kashmir it's almost a month and govt is starting to step back from half measured aggressiveness that was there in the beginning. Why you want 370 restored? Even I can give 5 point agenda before any talk for future
1. Lift the curfew immediately
2. Release of all leaders huryiat or otherwise
3. Move army out of cities and towns on Kashmir.
4. Let UN humanitarian organizations in Kashmir
5. No more one on one talks but under P5+ 1( 5 Permanent members + Germany) and then we move forward.
Instead of intense workout please work on moving around getting things done. Even I can post thread after thread and call and email and tweet like you.
1. Live like a *****. While you're beating your chest, Ik is concerned about practical matters of governance. He has a massive economic mess to clean up, which is why he's working the diplomatic rounds. A strong Pakistan will be better able to beat India.

2. Said it in my previous post, but Australia.

3. Costa Rica is demilitarized.

As far as the rest of your post, I almost don't even want to reply because of your blatant stupidity. After forty years of terrible leadership, corruption, and management, you expect IK to have everything together in one year? IK is doing everything he can to provide those things, but the end of the day he has to get the country financially solvent and bought into his vision. He's got the latter, the former is going to take a lot more work. Fortunately, account deficits continue to drop on a regular basis, the Pakistani economy is developing some clear core competencies that can be acted on right away (textiles, agriculture, freelance work), and believe it or not this crisis with India is an opportunity to localize some highly profitable export industries.

I get it. Pakistanis want action, and other than talking and taking this case international, IK hasn't done much on the surface. But I can't help but notice that Chinese air forces are moving towards a potential operations theater. Tanks are going towards the LOC. Forces are moving into areas where there's a possibility to make an impact. Sun Tzu says to be not where your enemy expects you. Right now Modi and his leadership are watching IK run around the world talking about Kashmir, and that is providing a massive distraction. The Chinese would like to protect their investment and Pakistan wants to liberate Kashmir. When you're preparing for an attack, you can do it one of two ways. Loud and noisy, like the US does it with moving troops and aircraft carrier groups. Or you can do it silently, stealthily, so that the enemy never knows you're coming. I wouldn't get ahead of myself. There's something brewing.

Hi,

War is always the option---it is the only option---. But as of now---IK is reaching out to the world---giving the world a chance to interfere---giving the world an opportunity to act and resolve the issue now---because once we start---the consequences are not going to be good---.

At this moment---young men from all over the muslim world are keenly looking at what is happening in Kashmir---they are sitting restless looking at what is transpiring---.

Once the Kashmiris pick up the AK47 and start the true struggle to get free---nothing---no sanctions---no fear of the united states threats will stop them from coming in---.

But the bottomline is the kashmiris----. They will have to start the armed action against the indian military---.
Kashmiris will never take guns at a scale you expect them to do.

Young men will enter Kashmir from where? There is no route available for them to enter Kashmir.

Hi,

Then the next reason is because of the Paf---. Paf is weak---it is running around 150 aircraft short---.

If it would have bought the aircraft in a timely manner---and was flying at full force + 20%---india would not have taken this step of annexing Kashmir---.

You have to understand the tactical reason behind the annexation---.

The reaction on the 26th and the 27th was that of cowardice by the PAF---. Indians were testing the ground---they presented their very important assets on a platter to assess what the Paf is going to do---.

They presented their most advanced submarine to our air force and they also presented 6-8 of their aircraft to us to shoot down---just to test the waters prior to that major major decision of annexation---.

And I say again---it was because of the cowardice of the Paf to strike when the enemy had pulled its pants down showed it to the indian govt that the Paf does not have the courage to see a real confrontation with real aircraft---ie---the SU30's and the Mirage 2K's---.

They get this straggler the obsolete Mig21 BIS and shoot it down---.

If the Paf had real ballz as they claim that they have---no SU30 or no Mirage2K that was in the range would have flown back to its base---it would have splashed in the mountains---.

And that Scorpene sub---that would be sitting on the floor of the arabian seas---.

Now---is this the answer that you were looking for---?

I am going to have to agree with the above except that PAF was inept on 26th or 27th Feb. I do agree that Pakistan should've taken more harder stance. During the IAF intrusion on 26th, there exists the reason to believe that PAF did respond, however, the time of IAF's flight time was too short to shoot them down to ensure the wreckage doesn't fall in Indian territory given they may have flown away super sonic to enter Indian airspace to avoid being hit. God knows what happened that night (I don't have inside connections, so I can only make mere speculations as layman.) However, PAF's response should've been much harder when they struck back on 27th by taking down their brigade headquarter to give a very strong and clear and direct message to India to not mess with us or the consequences would be worse than this one. Remember in conflict the side that initiates and throws the stronger punch wins. PAF or Pak armed forces in general have the capability but I don't know for some reason during the time of actual conflict and critical junction, our high command (whether political or military) hesitates in taking a bold decision. Read the history, during '65 war where at some front in AJK (please correct me if I am wrong), Gen. (retired) Akhtar Malik was about to intrude into Sri Nagar and there were great chances of capturing all of Kashmir, but for whatever reason he was called off for change of command which gave the IA enough time to regroup and get backup and the opportunity to capture Kashmir was blown away due ill decision by the higher ups.
