The Balkans and Anatolia of the medieval to early 20th century weren't like the US. They were closed societies with extremely few and rare mixed marriages. Christian men couldn't marry Muslim women and Christian women rarely married Muslim men. Conversions to Islam were relatively rare and it wasn't like all those romantic movies where the young muslim/christian guy runs away with the young christian/muslim girl.

Greek dna shows they mixed with everybody that owned Greece. Greeks have high amount of Turkish, Albanian, Italian, Slav blood.

Oh I don't have a problem with that,my family descends partially from Thessaly and southern Greece on my mother's side and Anatolian Greeks who were forced to come here,on my father's side.

Sometimes,especially when I was younger,I was told by various people irl and online that I look like an Armenian,Turk,Arab and Jew/Israeli. I guess...the light-colored ones.
