I know for Christmas, it is an official holiday in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

For all other minorities, on their primary religious days, they are supposed to be granted official holidays, according to Pakistani law.

Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic of India. How do you people remember such a lengthy name. Should call it "SSSDR of India.". Shucks, even this is lengthy.

I am not one of those who climb the chanay ki bush - is it correct.

Sorry but at times when Roman Hindi or Urdu is written by Indians, there are certain alphabets used which are different from what generally are used here.

The SSSDR in sanskrit was indeed very difficult to pronounce and understanding for me atleast was well neigh impossible. Therefore, I just sat there speechless.
