and the "ashok chakkar" at the heart of the flag..is from hinduism..dont forget that

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,
Thats ashok's edict buddist dharama chakra.

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who later became India's first Vice President, described the flag as follows:
Bhagwa or the saffron colour denotes renunciation or disinterestedness. Our leaders must be indifferent to material gains and dedicate themselves to their
work. The white in the centre is light, the path of truth to guide our conduct. The green shows our relation to (the) soil, our relation to the plant life here, on which all other life depends. The "Ashoka Chakra" in the centre of the white is the wheel of the law of dharma. Truth or satya, dharma or virtue ought to be the controlling principle of those who work under this flag. Again, the wheel denotes motion. There is death in stagnation. There is life in movement. India should no more resist change, it must move and go forward. The wheel represents the dynamism of a peaceful change.

Hindus work on eid bakri eid etc but for muslims its holiday.

I and my father, relatives friends never worked on Bakrid and Eid and never went to school on these days. But we have worked on Shab-e-Barat.

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,

There is no concept of Dharma Chakra in Hinduism. It is related to King Ashoka and Maurya Dynasty that's why it was put in India flag.

same in Pakistan...Muslims work on Christmas , diwali...Hindus, Christians go on holidays

Don't lie Christmas fall with Jinnah Birthday which is a national holiday. But all Muslim festivals are national holiday but no minority festival is a national holiday in Pakistan, neither Diwali nor Good Friday.

there is enough minorities representation in legislative assemblies..why don't they raise this issue?
i haven't heard of minority members of national assembly asking for Easter holiday or diwali...albeit for a few hundred thousand hindu/Christians,shutting down the whole country isn't financially feasible.... ..unlike 120+ million Muslim minority of India

Hiduism is a mixture of paganism and budhism and most pagan and budhist symbols are also Hindu symbols
