Japanese live much better life than Chinese. They have better access to toilets, clothes , more life expectancy,better per capita GDP and most importantly a free media that does not feeds them with a regular dose of state propoganda and oh I forgot they also have the 'Right to vote' . But why am I comparing China with a much advanced and developed Japan when even an average South Korean lives a much better life than an average Chinese with no disease , better access to food and freedom which average DingDong Chinese can only dream of.

No. I won't use the term inferior. There might be aspects of weaknesses and strengths in each culture. But, as part of the East Asian culture, Vietnamese culture bounds to be more efficient and result oriented.

True. There is no superior or inferior regarding any culture, but there is distinct difference. Vietnamese culture inherited and assimilated part of efficient governance of China, which means their government is more capable. In Chinese ancient culture, governance(治国) has a very long story, it can be traced back more than 2500 years to the Spring and Autumn period, though there is obvious drawbacks we are still dealing with today. What I like about Indian culture is that they seem to be very calm and happy, you can see dance and songs in their movies everywhere, sometimes Chinese or East Asian societies are highly-pressured, people work hard to death to make money, although competition brings efficiency, there is hiden trouble.

Exactly. It is more about the culture of governance (state's culture, so to speak), not necessarily people's daily activities. Obviously, in terms of effective governance, Vietnam, as part of the larger Sino-sphere, is bound to outdo many others.

Cultures have their own strengths and weaknesses. Being good in one aspect does not make a culture superior to other.

Besides, cultures can learn. Effective governance can be learnt, as well. Hence, there is no such absolute advantage.

They would have to add about 1,500 dollars in nominal GDP per capita every year, so there is every reason it cannot achieve developed status in 2 decades.

Ethnicity?Maybe,but more to do with the social and cultural aspects than "genetic".It's just plain as daylight to anyone.The Chinese or rest of east asians or south east asians will toil away in sweatshops,factories and various places and expect gradual change while south asians will hold strikes and burn down factories to 'protest' the working conditions and expect first world pay and working conditions.Asian societies(asian from the american pov not the whole continent) usually favour social cohesion and well being of the group over the individual while south asian societies are neither individualistic nor groupists.
It's not that south asians aren't capable,they just don't do it.They are talkers and not doers.Daydreamers,not thinkers and achievers.

many Indian people are working in very poor conditions with very low salaries
