what is a dictatar?
I just look up in my dictionary, and fail to find the word
You should pronounce it the Indian way. That's even funnier.

From when Viet Nam become dictatorship, in the same sense PRC and former CCCP was also dictatorship,Vietnam is developing very fast
its GDP per capita was 1/3 of India when it opens up
now it is nearly 30% higher than India
its infrastructure, literacy rate, sanitation are all much better than India
the comparison of Vietnam and India shows that dictatarship wins over democracy
great, thanks for the tip. That is a Chinese word, you have to look up in a Chinese to English dictionary...
Vietnam clearly has the edge right now, but in the long term India will surpass Vietnam and most ASEAN economies.
don't think it has anything to do with being dictatorship or communism anyhow.
Agreed. India is not the best place when it comes to efficient governance. Vietnam is bound to surpass many other so-called regional democracies. Because, no matter how much they may deny, they are one of East Asian cultures.
Apart from some territorial disputes, China and Vietnam are bound to make great allies with their pragmatist and efficient governance.
Exactly. Not all systems are doing well. India is a shining example. Today's developed West is the result of a number of favorable historical conjectures. It is not the system adopted (or indigenous-ly developed as in China's case) but historical conjectures and national culture.

So you believe East Asia is superior to South Asia inherently as it has better culture & other stuff like that

.....vietnam is not a dictatorship country, Vietnam is an authoritarian country, same as China....
Their premier change every ten years...
If they were dictatorship, they wont change the head of state...
Both cultures have glorious histories and advantages.
But others don't think so. In their mind, one party is dictatorship, no matter how the political mechanism works.
The Chinese understand that freedom and order, you chinese are delusional almost all of the developed countries are democracies. looks like living under the communist dictatorship screwed your mind big time
A bird in cage is always well fed, safe and secure. Only if someone asked the bird of her choice.
vietnam people are living a much better life than Indians
