Vietnam section under China & Far East?

offer rejected, not good enough!

Mod, I would appreciate if we can have an own Vietnam section, e.i. under China & Far East.

Not necessary, my brother!

I think World Affairs and the Far East (in fact that is East Asia or Asia Pacific) is a very good section for you to discuss issues related to Vietnam.

In fact, I rarely visit a section of a particular country in "Country Watch".

Moreover, of course, Vietnam is not in mind of Pakistani. She is only dedicated separate sections for her neighbours (China, India, Bangladesh, Afghanishtan...) and influential country (USA)

And number of Vietnamese members is little. Most of them just join here a time then they rarely come back. I might also like so....

I think the best choice is Vietnam re-incorporated into the Chinese territory. As a Special Administrative Region of China,Vietnam can rise rapidly in economy, people's living standards can be greatly improved......This is not the subjugation, but regression.

You're baiting here. Waite till my buddies, Wiseguy, Eastsea or dunhill read this.

Let me predict the merge of China and Vietnam will never happens. The Vietnamese minds are too independent and proud to form such a union. Perhaps a union of equals with Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar is a distinct possibility in the distance future and I personally would love to see that union consummated.

Vietnam does not want to be a part of an entity which is not durable. You see, the trend is to seek national independence instead of consolidation: The Empires such Mongol Empire..., others as Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, ...and today's Tibet, Uyghur... all of them seek national independence.
All combines of differences that are not sustainable. We saw and Let's wait to see!

Dear Mods

Every house should have its own private place. It does not look like that in this forum: Viets have have come wildly and they piss on everywhere, or Indians have pissed over the border...what a shame!

I strongly recommend that this forum should have a sub forum called Vietnam affairs, so that most Vietnamese and their haters/lovers could have a place to appreciate each other. We would be happy to be without Viets and Phils in the China and Far East forum, because these guys are not east enough....

Too short....hh

we as Indians strongly condemn/reject any thoughts on Vietnam becoming province of China. Vietnamese people love freedom and they have defeated superpowers like US and China. Long live Vietnam.....

You may be so naive, Turkey and Arab countries are not our direct neighbours, EU & Russia also not direct neighbour so there is Far East. I also wanted a separate section dedicated to Pakistan somewhere else but even holding top priority country but not entertained as we wish. All depends on political and strategic importance.

I have not said "direct neighbours", friend.
Your neighbours can be understood those who are in your area. For example, we see Bumar is our neighbour even though she is not a direct neighbour of VN.
In the list, if they are not your neighbours then they belong to the 2nd group, the influential countries or are in your mind.
I also said that Vietnam is not in any the groups above. Of course.

I think my comment above that was presented enough and understandable.
