Vietnam has a lot to lose if its anti-Chinese riots continue

.
Well, you can win every single battle in your draft (basically a pile of BS to me though), but still you cannot get any closer to our oil rig.
All you can do is to kill those innocent unarmed engineers...
What a shame on you mindless viets...you'll pay your debt some day!
Hey, we never plan to occupy Chinese land ...
You dreaming about electronic attack ... while Vietnam has the state-of-art radar systems ...
could easily handle all J-series, J20, J31 ... even US stealth
harden by real experience against US electronic welfare for several years ( don't argue that Vietnam step in place for anti-electronic welfare).
Vietnam even could anti-radar counter-strike to China naval bases or on board Chinese warships

For coastal defense : those are mobile systems, and why we must attack other ships out of 500km range ?

You plan to launch the missiles over Phillipines head ?? East Sea ( SCS ) is narrow one, you may need Phil coast to have the effect range of 1000 km ... to Vietnam coast. Or you plan to rent Subic naval base ?

While Vietnam airforce has ability to hunt your warships ...

China navy could outnumber only in the Oil Rig ( in effective range of all coastal defense system of Vietnam ). you never could outnumber in our coasts ...

I could sort out that Chinese airforce must be afraid of Vietnam airforce at this time in limit regional conflict

Naval warfare with the Chinese is very easy. All we need to do is send our Su-22 each is armed with the KH-31 missile for anti-shipping role. Due to the curvature of the Earth, no Chinese ship-borned radar can pick up the Su-22 at more than 80 km if we fly low at 200 m above sea surface. All the Su-22 does is fire that missile and forget about it and let the Chinese ships deal with countering them. Meanwhile, our Su-30 can fire the standoff missile Kh-59MK (285 km) at the Chinese ships and call it the day and let the Chinese worry about it. Our jets can take off at any point along the coast without any concern of getting grounded since we already built a kazillion of offsite runway camouflaged for the preparation of our runway getting hit. If they try to blockade our coast, we can easily blast them away with our shore-based Shaddock/Kh-35/Yakhont missiles or air launched Kh-59MK missiles. Land warfare is even easier as we have produced the RPG-29. No tank or armoured vehicles can stand a chance of a few thousands RPG-29 flying toward them. Vietnam once again is victorious

Many fools in here need to relax about our "economy". We have several TRILLION dollars worth of mineral resources that we have not mined yet. We have our businesses that export products to earn forex currencies. We still have the Japanese, Korean, European, and American FDI enterprises in Vietnam. We're still shopping for arms. We will be here for another one thousands years

Chinese businesses like Taiwan, Singapore can leave if they want; we still have too many backups

Majority of Vietnamese share his view, you can count on it.

I don't think that his country has many backups when it suffered the skyrocketed hyperinflation few years ago.

I have encountered many YouTube maniacs who claimed that half of China should belong to Vietnam.

What is the percentage of Viets who have shared this view?

Too crazy of an idea who know how many of them.

Not like their view can redrawn the map between China and Vietnam.

This myth about half of China originally belonged to Vietnam is now really getting popular on the Internet.

This shouldn't be anonymous, it must be spreading by the professional propaganda machine to fuel up the ultra-nationalist sentiment of the Viet population.

So what, just an opinion they have. there isn't a land dispute between China and Vietnam.

More details as to the riots in Vietnam and number of casualties:

Ten Chinese nationals missing in Vietnam after riots

Around 10 Chinese nationals remain missing after rioters attacked Chinese owned companies in Vietnam's central Ha Tinh Province.

Anti-Chinese protests were held throughout Wednesday in Ha Tinh, some 300 kilometers south of the capital Hanoi. The rioters attacked four Chinese companies that were building an iron and steel complex invested by China’s Taiwan. According to the factory manager, around 10 staff remain missing, with at least 55 workers injured. The local government has not given any casualty figures.

The anti-China riots in Vietnam came amid rising tensions between the two countries over territorial disputes in the south China Sea. Vietnamese ships and personnel had repeatedly harassed the normal operations of a Chinese oil company in the South China Sea. According to a local Vietnamese newspaper quoting police reports, some 460 companies had reported damage to their plants, and about 600 people have been arrested for looting and inciting violence. Since the riot started, more than 600 Chinese business people and tourists have crossed the Vietnamese border into Cambodia to flee the violence.

In light of the rioting, the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR governments have all issued an amber outbound travel alert for Vietnam, warning people to exercise caution and avoid protests.
